Eric Burdon, one of the best singers of the world, no doubt about that!!!
Amen
Absolutely!
I know love only by one name Eric ! God it's freaking pathetic I'm 30 and I got a major teeny bopper crush on Eric ..n I'm proud of it lol I'm crazy probably I know but hell he makes me feel so good very word he sings !
VEROTIKAA me 2! 35 and a heavy crush on him.
VEROTIKAA I’m 66 and feel like you. I saw him in 1967 and been in love ever since. That’s a long time. But WOW. How couldn’t you be. Whew it’s hot in here
Honey, 70+ year old women from the 60s still have crushes on Eric! After all, he’s 78.
@@zickafoose That's me! Loved him then, love him now and always will. Xs
@@zickafoose me too. I’m 78 and still crushing!
Even though nothing can compare to Ray Charles' original, Eric pulls it off nicely. It's not a surprise, really, when you listen to "House of the Rising Sun" and realize he was a baby-faced 20-year-old when he did it in 1964.
Epic. Also loved the little swagger walk to get a drink of water. I should definitely start doing that.
I know that cute little swagger walk is a bonus!
Love Eric
❤Eric Burdon❤
He also did it on the studio album with the Animals-in the 80's------ alan Price did a crazy solo on that version
1977

Awesome60sand70smusic Awesome60sand70smusic LOL
I love this guy he funny but they did this song good
thanks for uploading this
GOOD!"
All my love
Ray Charles's original still rule supreme, not without flatery from a tender british fan Eric..
Wow. Once again Eric hits it out of the park with a definitive cover. I've always loved the Ray Charles original but somehow this drunken English dwarf has managed to make it sound better. Nice one.
Good things come in small packages.
шикарноооо
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice version of Doc Pomus penned classic "Lonely Avenue."
If you like this, i suggest you youtube Joe Cocker's version with David Sanborn and David Fathead Newman. Another awesome version.
Non so perché, ma mi ricorda un po' i Rolling Stones....... bravissimo!
Eric or Bob idk I love them both!
era bom que fizesse um vídeo contando mas da vida de Eric Burdon, se ele é casado se tem filhos e mais coisas! !
💥
If you haven't heard it, try bill medley's version of this song
eric et van morrison en duo , je meurs...
makes me sad that miley cyrus can get 200million views on her shit song...and this one only has 20k this is music
People have no taste anymore!
Oh i'm quite happy about that not everyone listens to this musik. they would probably make a new tasteless version of it, some popmusic stuff. like nacy sinatras bang bang and the david guetta verion. but it's a free world, isn't it
s mamasita True...true
It truely is sickening, i don't know maybe they watch her to get a laugh! They man is phenomenol....We know we love him
It would be getting way more hits if the band hadn't been so rudely interrupted.
Dodger's hat gets any higher on the keyboardist's head, it'll be floatin above him. Usually only see that in northern Maine, "Ayah".
great cover.... Original version is still way better.... vocally
Hey you quitarists...?
When we use strats?
When we use hums?
Can one quitar hundle all the styles? Soul funk jazz blues rock?
Cocaine is a hell of a drug...so I hear.
Bit too fast....
Are y’all serious?

Lol
An absence of the drummer would have been good...
11Kralle indeed! It's to loud, you can't hardly hear Eric
If it ain't Ray Charles then it's pointless to even attempt to even try...and he sound like shit...listen to this song by Ray Charles and can't nobody come close to Mr Charles...R.I.P.
Harrison Jackson Wrong
Maybe, but Ray Charles wasn’t as sexy and pretty as Eric.
Sorry Eric....not good....Guess I have Ray on my mind....no comparison
Robert Barrett I always prefer Rays version of these covers, but have to give it to Eric that he takes a song and makes it his own.
I love it!
The band is cool, but not the best rendition of this killer blues tune by Doc Pomus and made popular by Ray Charles in 1956. (And, whoa, that outfit Eric! As he sashays around the stage in his plaid shirt and khaki bell bottoms-really low ebb for men's fashion-showing us his rather broad rear end, that doesn't say soul to me) IMHO
Are you kidding?
I think its fine hes always been his own person style and singing❤
LOVE 💕 Eric
