- Reminder is about a young man called Cal, who struggles with depression. After an attempted suicide, he can’t find back o his life and stays in bed most of the time.

I have been in this place of being more than once. Most recently 5 and a half years ago...upon the point of laying down upon a railroad track to end the pain I was in. Light came through at the right moment to give me a word of love...of hope...and of a reason to pick myself up from the cold steel tracks and continue to live.
Thank you, Wolfgang, for not only capturing the thoughts which we all, who have (and may currently be) been upon that precipice have had in our souls and chased in our heads; and thank you, as well, for the most compassionate and empathetic of ways in which you have communicated them here to all of us through your gift of and passion for meaningful filmmaking.
To all who have been there, in that dark place, and who have come through: I am happy you are here! You are inspiration.
To all who have been there and have ultimately crossed over in the midst of the great pain you truly experienced: R.I.P., Your presence is greatly missed.
And, for all of you who are wresting now, who may be sensing hopelessness, despair, and considering suicide: KNOW...PLEASE KNOW...THAT YOU ARE LOVED, YOU ARE NEEDED, AND YOU MATTER. IN FACT, YOU ARE PERFECT AND YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Reach out to someone---anyone. Keep breathing...I promise you, LIGHT ALWAYS prevails over darkness. Keep breathing long enough to see that light. Please. I love you.
