      The defending was better before. It got horrible cause of ALBA. NOtice the goals of FC dallas. Out of 4 goals 2 came from ALba's side and he was nowhere to be seen. He is supposed to be a left back but he is only focusing in attack when making defense vulnerable

He has a World Cup with a team full of B class players and a goalkeeper who was a complete nobody against France with one of the greatest squads of all time. Over 70% of all time great players and coaches polled say Messi is the best of all time. Most BDor's of all time. Best statistical season of all time by FAR. There is no question, he's the best.

    Seeing this game in person was absolutely incredible! I've been going to FC Dallas games for years, never did I ever think I'd see the GOAT MESSI play right in front of me in dallas! What a world, and what a game. I thought Dallas would take the win but Messi had other plans. Wow, my mind is blown, it still doesn't feel real. I'll never forget this day!

      @@mchan2639 I understand that, but I’d argue the delta between PSG a bottom-league team in Ligue 1 like Nantes or Strasbourg should showcase his talent even more since he had quality teammates. I mean, did you see the link-up between Alba and Messi, or Busquets and Messi? When was the last time you’ve seen a lower quality team do those kind of plays? When you see City against Norwich you immediately see the difference. Now stick KDB in Norwich and have him play against Stoke and he is gonna be less productive cause his teammates don’t have the vision or abilities to capitalize on KDB’s vision and passing

Whilst his skill level is still high and gives great highlights, I think he probably can’t do it at the highest level in Europe for 90 minutes anymore. He’s having a good time, earning lots of money in a Latin culture in the US and can mentor some young players.

    First time seeing Messi play last night in Dallas! What an amazing experience in watching him play and he had the home crowd cheering him on with his dazzling play. It reminded me of how home teams Would react when Michael Jordan visited your city. I will never forget this game and watching Messi’s brilliance. I’m hoping this will continue to build more excitement in MLS and attract more world class players in the future.

      The first time I seen Messi was Arg vs Mex, copa America 2007 I believe. Messi had scored an insane chip against Oswaldo Sanchez. I thought to myself , this Messi will never do anything special again. About a year later I was a forever fan, I just could not believe that he can do the things he does.     Man I hope the US fans treat him well and I think they are. He is smiling on the field. His team is laughing and making sure he has a good environment to be in.       cr7 didnt win the league with al nassir they are pretty much the same team like last season losing to their rival.
      real madrid won the champions league right away without cr7 (and la liga ) lol
      barca was rock bottom for 2 years without messi
      and inter is a completely differen team now competing for the trophies

    I'm a 68 year old Argentine living in USA since I was ten. Played with the LA Aztecs in 1978. Have been to the 1986 WCF in Mexico City. But, nothing compares to the last few years with Messi at Barca, Albiceleste and now. I get so sad to think in the blink of an eye he will be an amazing memory. So lucky to have technology so his memory will live on forever. Vamos Argentina!, CARAJO!
