start with create-react-app then after few months learn nextjs nextjs is a framework over react which is already a framework, create-react-app makes it simple
Not everyone uses (or likes) Tailwind, it's really counterproductive to have to extract the useless vendor lock in parts each time, when you could just provide a more vanilla tutorial in the first place

It goes nicely with Next.js and many do with this framework. I'm sure I'd hear the opposite if I switched.
