They love those pumpkin seeds, good video
Thanks HHH, just what I needed to hear. Too late for pumpkins now, but I'll remember next fall. Good time to worm too, just before winter comes on.
This was very interesting to me. Although I do not plan on raising hogs in the near future, it is still great information to pass to others.
Good way to deworm them.❤❤❤❤
Hey y'all fyi 100 years ago and earlier they used charcoal (real charcoal not briquettes) and it will amaze you what happens. A pig will seek burnt logs in the wild naturally for this very reason. It will clean them out fast if they have worms.
Pumpkin seeds or pumpkin veg?
I would think that if you boiled the walnuts making a tea then added that to their water the hogs would get more out of it.
Good content going to put that to use
Thank you!
HI buddy you have to take them out of the green casings there to bitter but don't crack the shells just give to them whole they will eat the lot
They collect pumpkins around here for farmers after Halloween so most of us don't carve them anymore the farmers prefervto feed them to the livestock
Would any walnuts do?
Black walnuts are the only ones I know of
Hogs go crazy over walnuts when they are dried out
Hard to hear w the light noise
Sorry about that
Your waiting a long time to butcher your barrow. When we had our hog farm most butchers wouldn’t take a 300# hog, to big for their equipment. Most are butchered between 220-250 about 6 month of age. Just curious why you wait almost a year or over to butcher???
Just throw the whole pumpkin out there the will eat it all
Pasture is the source of worms. BTW, cyanide is natural.
