Yes, the kit comes with the lights and a battery pack. I didn't show much on how to hook up the lights in this video, but it is not hard at all to figure out. You just have to twist the wires on lights to the wires on the battery pack.
I have the same kit from Amazon it didn't come with glue and batteries. The batteries I can salvage from electronic toy, glue I have lots my choice is tacky PVA. The instructions was in English just outside box is in Mandarin. I finished up to outside furniture the parts are tiny it says to use tweezers. Mine came with music box tool even though it says can be purchase separat ely. I have little time for crafts because of work and come home tired. One day I will finish it.😊
Have you ever gotten a kit that was smashed and how did the company respond to replacing it? Also, have you ever (as I have) spent hours and hours putting one of these kits together, only to inadvertently break it as you were doing the final assembly? You have far more patience than I have!
I never got a kit that was completely smashed, but I did get some kits with 1 or 2 broken pieces. I showed a small part of how I repaired a piece in this video: th-cam.com/video/DTShTDBwWF0/w-d-xo.html I never bothered to contact the company about it because it was just 1 piece that was easily fixed. I haven't broken anything yet, but I've had a few pieces of furniture fall apart on me as I was building them because I didn't wait long enough for the glue to dry.

I've noticed that you use hot glue to glue plants down, and the all purpose glue on furniture. Is there a reason why, or is it just what you specify. And also, idk where to find the all purpose glue you use.. and I can't order it online... is there something that works just as well?
I try not to use hot glue. I use it on plastic parts because it seems to work better than anything else I have. The all purpose glue is Scotch glue. If I didn't have it, I would use Aleene's tacky glue or wood glue.

I kind of agree with you, that tea cup isn't the best. If I were to redo it, I would make the paper cup but fill it with a tinted, clear liquid glue or something like that.
