Watching on TH-cam just made me miss my grandparents so very much. They took me in when no one else would as I needed many surgeries from three months old onward. I found a LeFevres record today' '' The LeFevres Play Gospel Music'' CAS-9662-LP It was such a great find because they were so good! I've enjoyed watching all of the old footage.
I think at one time the LeFevres had their own local (or even syndicated) TV show. During the early to mid-60s they were part of the Gospel Singing Caravan TV Show. It featured them, Blue Ridge, Johnson Sisters, and maybe the Weatherfords. Also, this appears to be late 60s and Mylon was part of the group, shown here playing a snare drum. In concert they’d feature him on at least one solo. He bounced back and forth between his family group and the Stamps.

As a Holiness Pentecostal preacher in southeastern Kentucky, my grandpa sang this song many times. Everytime I sing this, I think of him.
