    Car guys always work on more than just cars 😉 In the military if you can read a manual, apply good mechanical knowledge, and crank on wrenches, you can repair anything lol. I was a vehicle mechanic, but I worked on generators, heavy equipment, light equipment, heaters, air conditioners, you name it. I enjoyed this video!

    Good to see old equipment being rehabbed. Brings back good memories, as I worked for CLARK EQUIPMENT , back in the mid to late 70's . I worked on many MELROE CLARK Bobcats.
    Definitely enjoy seeing this type of video along with your other content.

    We look so forward to each of your videos. My husband has two Bobcat loaders he uses to make a living so this was especially cool. He says sometimes it’s easier to work around some of those areas if he takes the tires off. You’re not afraid to work and fix anything. Great as usual. Waiting for the next one!! Enjoy your instagram also.

    Hey Brent , Greg here. I don't know much at all about Bobcats . Great job on that repair and the ...just get in there and do it . Once again ya just dun diddit . All I can say is Lori's just started making a cloth mask out of a dark blue silk tie she bought at Value Village today . She has already made a yellow lacey one for the bride . One of her brothers is getting married in a few weeks. Sofar she's made over 500 cloth masks since this virus thing got going . I gotts to go change the oil in the lawn mower and cut da grass. At least they can have 50 people at their outdoor wedding. Is the Tim's cruz thing happening again this weekend ? We stopped by to visit my Dad and Mom earlier today .He's the reason the '67 Chevelle convertible came into the family when I was in grade 2. Tomorrow Dad would have been 107 yrs old.

    • @HalfassKustoms
      @HalfassKustoms  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      no I don' t think the tims is happening but there is something at Cynthais corner stone cafe today though just north of the tims there.

    • @homespuntools2115
      @homespuntools2115 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I googled that Corner Cafe the hamburger and onion rings sure do look worth the drive or "it's worth the trip " sloga. We got a message from MSRA that Blumberg Sports and Golf Place is inviting for a cruz today . The food place there won't open until June 1st but you can hang out and visit . It's between Assiniboine Downs and Headingly. A much closer drive for us folks. Back to yard work for now ,thanks for the info Brent .

    I am pretty sure that you watch Andrew Camarata and he just did a drive motor on the rear sprocket opening my eyes to bob cat. I know this is apples to oranges but he brings up the difference in builds on say kamotsu or other brands and how much better designed with stronger better less chance to fail and must agree. I think your subbed to him. I don't think that you have as much rust as the ocean states of the usa or say ohio and what not along our great lakes. So sad to invest say forty thousand for something and it three to five you have a dissolved pile of scrap. I will watch you play fifty two card pickup Brent, I like the stuff that you do in general. Yes I did like it

    ive made that repair uncounted times with frozen fingers those cam eccentrics are not that expensive @ bobcat i've wrecked many and found they'll strip with new tires also the fine thread castle nut strips out i always tack welded it. helps to do turns low speed on the drive sheave. drive belt is expensive on this machine. they have rebuild kits for all the hydraulic cylinders they're not hard to rebuild also rebuild kit for the hydraulic drive sheave. if the points & distributor cap start burning up it's time to set the valve lash. i had a set of metal tracks but it wore the drive clutches too fast so never put them back on. time to time blow out the alternator with compressed air or the regulator burns out. ive snapped joystick levers in half, hydraulic cylinder shafts in half, boom snapped in half, rolled bobcat end for end upside down with me in it and fan cooled wisconsin engine catching fire. important to rtv silicone the side covers because when you power wash the skidloader water gets in turn to ice and it wont move no matter how hard you push those joysticks bought the knipco heater just for that. the axle seals leaked many many years bought hydraulic oil by the 55 gallon barrel then when the engine blew up had bobcat dealer replace all 4 seals no more leaks. almost 30 years fighting the 610 on a small dairy farm my 853 is like a gift from god

I used one moving scrap sheetrock from the building to the dumpster and if it tore up I just called someone to call the guy to fix it because it wasn't mine anyway but put several miles on it or should I have said hours 😂👍

I have a Melroe Bobcat 610...I re-built it from a rusty shell I found in a field...The entire drive system was chopped out of it, I had to order everything from him....great prices but of course I got totally hosed on duty charges. since I'm in Canada.
