Hi Yary! I just graduated August 28th from nail tech school (Manicurist) NC and I’m studying to take my state board exams. I’m taking my theory exam first and I am a little nervous! @@wandasimes0204 most information is standard with the exception of the laws rules and regulations information and of course the practical hands on test if they have one usually each state is different. Make sure you are reviewing what your test consist of I’m sure you can download it from the states cosmetology board for NC

I high suggest you Watch the full infection control video I recently uploaded explaining everything 😊 it’s important that you understand the different methods. Sterilization is the highest method with the use of an autoclave.
Hi The information is coming from the new foundation book that contains the infection control chapter and no it does not have the shapes of bacteria like the old book did 😊
@@GlamAndBeyond Okay thank you. This new book can be used to study for the written exam? I am in N.C I have failed the written exam once. We don’t use milady we use the regular esthetics salon fundamentals book. What books, app ect do you recommend for me so I can past this the 2nd time?
@@brittanylittlejohn1746 in Texas the book I mentioned is one of the references for the test . Along with Milady esthetician standard fundamental. a lot of students use the “Esthetician App” as well and of course quizzlet. My advice would be re read some of the chapter you scored the lowest on.
