Current State: Ethics and Compliance, C-Leadership, and Changes to Business Models with ESG

Keith works with boards and top executives across six continents on a wide variety of complex governance, ethics, compliance, regulatory, and reputation risk challenges. He served as Independent Senior Advisor to Deloitte LLC from 2013-21. Prior to Deloitte he spent nine years as Executive Director of the Ethics & Compliance Officer Association (ECOA), and also served as Chairman of the ECOA Foundation. Keith has combined a 40-year career in the financial services industry with his profession as an educator and his long-term involvement in business ethics, corporate governance, and organizational leadership. He is on the board of the Notre Dame Deloitte Center for Ethical Leadership as well as the Center for Ethics at Emory University. From 2011-21 he served as Chairman of the Global Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility at St. Thomas Aquinas College. He has been Chairman of the Board of the Better Business Bureau Foundation in addition to being a Board member of E*Trade Bank and at New York National Bank. Previous executive posts include IBJ Whitehall Bank & Trust Company, Prudential Securities, Inc., Marine Midland Bank (acquired by HSBC), and IGM, an insurance company jointly owned by General Reinsurance Corporation and Frank B. Hall & Company (now Aon). Darcy holds degrees from Fordham University, the Hagan Graduate School of Business at Iona College, and New York Theological Seminary.
