I always loved walking the beach on that game. The music is just unsettling enough to make you remember Telos is a scarred world barely being breathed back to life.
I find the restoration zone of Telos strangely eerie. It looks like you're outdoors in nature, but something feels off. It's alive, but also quite dead. A perfect Star Wars atmospfere. I love how KOTOR 2 conveyed the true consequences of war. The emptiness that destruction leaves behind.
I love coming here because I've read Jedi Apprentice, so seeing what unfolds on Telos thousands of years later between Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Xanatos as well as Den and Andra to the backdrop of KOTOR 2 makes both the game and the YA books so much more meaningful. It's magic Disney can never recapture.
Jango32 Peragus was annoying to me because there's too many droids and you're figuring everything out. I just don't think it's a great way to start a video game tbh.
+Jango32 Amen! Whilst I do understand why some find it annoying, to me it was far more enjoyable than Taris. Imagine it: you awaken in an abandoned mining facility, you find corpses everywhere, the droids have gone insane, you can't communicate with the rest of the galaxy, and the whole place might blow up. How creepy and claustrophobic is that? Oh, and an undead Sith Lord and his invisible assassins are out to get you, hope you don't mind. ;)
