- The Ventura County Fire Department hosted the 2021 mobile exercise June 5 for regional urban search and rescue task forces from Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. Firefighters from nine departments tested their skills in a simulated earthquake scenario to find trapped and injured people and get them to safety.
