- Hi guys. This time I''ve muted the guides for a very good reason.
I am not going to participate in speculating about dying and dead cubs while they have only been gone for one day.
In the past we have not seen two cubs for almost a week.
They had already been declared dead by the guides. Not smart because they were very alive and healthy. And yesterday it happened again. Everybody was panicked about the missing cubs. Not me. I told it on YT chat. But that didn''t help. So please don'' t ask me about the missing, dead, starving cubs. My motto about injured and missing animals is: Don''t panic, as long as you don''t see a carcass only time will tell how things working out.

So cute these teddy bear look alike cubs. I feel sad that some don't make it to adulthood though. But then that is how it is in nature.
Hopefully these little cubbies are all growing into gorgeous sub adults 🙏🙏. I love them at this age...Their ears start get bigger then their faces and it’s just too cute ♥️ and their little growls crack me up. They’re just so vocal at that age. Amber Eyes and Purple Eyes are absolutely stunning and the the cubbies fathers are so handsome. The cubbies come from a beautiful gene pool

I have yet another "Theory" about the missing cubbies. I tend to think, that Purple eyes cubs were not getting the milk they needed from her due to the largest cubs. To me, it makes sense that she would try to keep them separate a bit longer till they get stronger and stashed them away. One little one of hers didn't stay put and went with the rest and one of Ambers cubs stayed with the little ones. As I said its a theory only.

Watching this makes really feel bad for that 1 male lion that lost his siblings and kept trying to get close with the Nkuhumas. I forgot which pride he was from and I think his mom had abandon him and his siblings. Not sure on what the story is about him if someone could explain it to me I would greatly appreciate it... thank you!
thats one is from mhangeni pride, he lost his 5 siblings (sub adults)

I noticed that the date of this was 3.5 years ago. I sincerely hope all these cute cubs survived and are now thriving as adults. Any updates on them would be great. 🙂
In 2020 they had 9 cubs. 8 survived. The last time I saw them there were 4 sub-adults without the pride. But I don't follow the live drives, so I have no idea how many 2019 cubs are still around. But it's a big and healthy pride.
