I disagree. There are some serious contenders who are just as good as her, including Franzl Lang, Takeo Ischi, Kerry Christensen and Sofia Shkidchenko. That said, she's right up there with the others.

This song is like the soundtrack to getting drunk. It starts out with how you feel when you drive k a beer. Then it stops at the breakdown which is when your beer is gone. Then it restarts (getting another beer) and continues on with beer after beer, then it slows down, which is realizing you're drunk. Then speeds up which is the room spinning, until the grand finish, which is when you finally pass out.

Even though I don't know their language, Swiss German, I do enjoy their singing and performance. Best to you Melanie and your family in 2021.
The Swiss German dialect known as Schweizerdeutsch is really pretty much like regular German or "Hoch Deutsch" high German which is what most Germans and Austrians speak. They use the same alphaphet and grammar but the pronounciations are a bit different.
@@TacticalJackalopeSwiss German doesn't sound like Standard German. Words, pronunciation, rhythm - everything's different. I can't understand Swiss German at all.

I've been dosing on this song for a couple weeks now hopefully I won't get over it
