+halenaw24 You forgot because he was forgettable there. I was out here in LA when the Hawks traded him to the Clippers in 94 when the Hawks finally had a legit run at a championship with ATL leading the East for much of the season and Mike out. One of the dirtiest moves ever done to the best player in a franchise's history. He still looked good with the Clippers, depressed as he was, and mind you, he came back from an Achilles rupture in 92 (I have the clip of the injury on my site). That very next year with Boston, he finally hit the wall. Not only that, but he hated the coach Chris Ford. Even recently he had some pointed things to say about Ford on the NBAtv panel show with Ernie/Kenny. He said Ford sat him for a long stretch and came up to him before they were face ORL in the first round wanting Nique to lead the team and Nique pretty much said he told him to F off. It's a shame that piss poor Hawks franchise pulled that on him in the best year they had in his entire career there. They got Danny Manning who promptly ditched them for PHX that Summer. I remember Manning crying on LA media about wanting to be traded to the Suns, so the Hawks didn't even know Danny's next move was coming, too.
this isn't even close to Dominique Wilkins last season. He was on the 1999 Magic with his brother Gerald, Penny Hardaway, Horace Grant, Nick Anderson. He barely played in the playoffs though, mostly played in the regular season and started a few games. They were a good team but got upset in the playoffs by the 76ers.
No, the Bulls announcer (Johhny "Redd" Kerr) even says it's his 3rd jam since coming back. Start the video right around 7:20 he says it shortly after that. Not a big deal just sayin'.
2nd game back. Sandwiched between a combined 14 for 51 vs. Indiana and Orlando, the two Eastern Conference Finalists. He definitely had to knock off a lot of rust.
According to the graphic at the end when Jordan is shooting free throws, even the box score on basketball reference is wrong This video is unbelievable
"Michael was looking forward to playing in this building where the rims are loose and kind " around 1.40 , so at this stage in NBA history the rims were not standardized and each arena had rims that were easier or harder to shoot ?
It was built in the 1920s as a boxing arena, and it didn't get old well. Didn't had air conditioning and it didn't work to the professional sports' modern standards.
He wore 45 when he came back in 95 because the Bulls had retired his number. It was a whole fiasco at the time, because the rules stated once a number was retired, it couldn't be used again. They eventually overrode that BS and gave it back to him though.
Dominique Wilkins just baptized Michael Jordan when he took him under the rim and wet him in some unholy water, I mean just look 4 urself @t about da 1: 25-1:30 mark in the time.
Mj is what you call poetry in motion, so smooth and so graceful
I was at this game. Thank you SO much for posting this.
8:00 Brown jump kicked Jordan, and then they both walk away like nothing happened. Love the do-or-die competitiveness and respect of the 90's NBA.
Those passes to Pippen and Longley...brilliance
mj's passing ability is something to be noticed on this video
Ishan Shah definitely, but also.....when he’s on the court, SOMEBODY is always open as he was usually double teamed.
his passing is the most underrated element of his game. People act like he was just a scorer, no he has one of the most complete games of all time
I was at this game, still have my ticket stub.
whhhaaaa this ovation.... Only Michael can have this
Wow... I had completely forgotten that Nique played for the Celtics before he retired.
halenaw24 he also played a little for the Orlando Magic

No, the Bulls announcer (Johhny "Redd" Kerr) even says it's his 3rd jam since coming back. Start the video right around 7:20 he says it shortly after that. Not a big deal just sayin'.
Reggie Lewis #35 was retired at Halftime.

2:02 - Shaking my head. This guy is incredible. It deserved to go in. His second game as well after deciding to come back.
Astonishing by Air Heiness
Imagine it Reggie Lewis and Len Bias were playing for Boston in this one...
Historical Perspective Along with Dominique Wilkins that would've been deadly

Nice job Rairjordan!
"Michael was looking forward to playing in this building where the rims are loose and kind " around 1.40 , so at this stage in NBA history the rims were not standardized and each arena had rims that were easier or harder to shoot ?

didn't know dominique played in boston celtics. nice video.
great commentators
10:31 I guess they didn't know about tony's passing ability yet.
Why did they tear down the Garden?
The building was historic but many of the seats had a horrible view.
To make room for a parking lot for the new Garden
It was built in the 1920s as a boxing arena, and it didn't get old well. Didn't had air conditioning and it didn't work to the professional sports' modern standards.
so many DeadSpots on the court u cud barely dribble the 🏀 basketball, lmmfAssoff!!!!😂😂😂😂😂

Yeah for a few seasons then they moved it back
i totally forgot D. Wilkins played for the Celtics for a spell...
What ever happened to the Boston Garden?
10:50 Guy just wants to really touch him!
Why Did They Tear Down The Boston Garden??
i remember this game bcuz of the play at 3:45
O_O you're going post all ?
celtics fans chanting MJ.....LOL
wait what his wearing number 45?
He wore 45 when he came back in 95 because the Bulls had retired his number. It was a whole fiasco at the time, because the rules stated once a number was retired, it couldn't be used again. They eventually overrode that BS and gave it back to him though.
Bill Murray @ 3:13

Bill.Murray
Dominique Wilkins just baptized Michael Jordan when he took him under the rim and wet him in some unholy water, I mean just look 4 urself @t about da 1: 25-1:30 mark in the time.
