thank you thank you thank you for a rex lease b-western i had never found. i have seen 8 of rex lease's 9 starring b-westerns. the only 1 i have not seen is Utah Kid (1930) in case you can find it. keep the b-westerns coming!

Always great to see the legendary stuntman, Yakima Canutt, in a movie! For those that don't know, he was the stunt coordinator on action movie classics such as the chase in Stagecoach (1939), the Chariot Race in Ben-Hur (1959), the Jousting in El Cid (1961) and a multitude of Republic Serials like Zorro and Lone Ranger. One of the greatest stuntmen of all time! And Fun Fact, he's one of the only 2 stuntmen to receive a lifetime achievement Oscar for their contribution to cinema. The other is Hal Needham, legendary stuntman & coordinator on later action films like Smokey and The Bandit.

Alright, I have to say it. Isn't it intresting how these early action films had actors who could keep clean in a fight and their shirts are perfectly pressed after a hard ride.

‘Pals Of The Range’ played at the Rialto Theatre, Chattanooga, TN as main feature for two days in August 1935, with a 9 PM ‘amateur nite’ and a Popeye cartoon. ‘Pals’ was the main feature at the Garden Theatre, Landing, MI for two days in November, 1935 with Laurel and Hardy in ‘The Fixer Uppers’ and an ‘all color cartoon. It was the main feature at the Lyric Theatre, Modesto, CA “2 Major Features……ACE HIT No. 1” ‘Pals Of The Range’ “the fastest action drama ever filmed! Hazardous riding… daring stunts… pistol duels and bitter hand-to-hand fights! Pals Of The Range has them all! ACE HIT No. 2 ‘Down To Their Last Yacht’ with Mary Boland and Polly Moran…. “Friday Night is Norge Rollator Night - a beautiful 1936 Norge Rollator refrigerator MUST GO to the patron of the Lyric Theatre every Friday at 9 PM.” ‘Pals’ played smaller cities and small towns. There is no record of it playing in New York City (including Brooklyn), Chicago or Los Angeles.
