I appreciate the way you interleave illustrations of the games as you provide voiced over commentary. That process enlivens the presentation to no end. Your conciseness is also commendatory.
I'm really digging the 3rd edition with the action die. The organic process of developing a turn action by action across the skirmish is thrilling like I haven't experienced in another game.
I definitely have to say something about Sniper elite! It's a game that managed to bring back to me the same feeling during my childhood when we played hide and seek. Well done! ❤❤
6th Panzer Army is VERY nice, I love that game. BTW, I when redid NR3 for GMT, I added the Polish Campaign and also a LOT of extra stuff (oops, perhaps a bit too much?), the VPG version is most decidedly simpler.
A good list, indeed. like all the solitaire games, some of which I have on my buy list. There is a few games I hope you've at least given a chance to play... PANZERBLITZ/Panzer Leader (AH), the godfather of tactical East Front games, RIFLES IN THE ARDENNES/PACIFIC, Stalingrad/Russian Campaign (AH), SNIPER (SPI), COMBAT INFANTRY (West/East) by Columbia... very FUN!
I admit I have not played any of these. I love the No Retreat Series that got from GMT. My 1st was Italy really enjoyed it so I got Africa and then Russia. I have wanted to get the France/Poland game just not have done it yet. I think I asked before but have you ever played any othere No Retreat games if so what is your take?
You like Conflict of Heroes and Combat Commander. You should try Old School Tactical. It's a really smooth and fast playing tactical system that is very accessible, at least compared to ASL or Last Hundred Yards. Components are beautiful. It is not for the casualty averse.
Apologies if I'm teaching anyone to suck eggs, but GMT republished No Retreat 3 as No Retreat The French and Polish Fronts with a deluxe treatment and a double sided mounted map with the 1939 Polish campaign on the reverse. Sniper Elite is top of my hot game list right now.

Thank you. Glad you like it.
Glad that you included Conflict of Heroes. Its easily the best tactical ww2 system. Awakening the Bear and Storms of Steel are fantastic too.
Fun game.

Thanks for the Sniper Elite love! :)
Impossible not to love that game, sir. Very happy for your success with it.
I still need to play it! I'm so ashamed. Please forgive me, David Thompson! lol ;-)

@@jalalfiguigui7936 Great Game! Thanks!
I’m really impressed on your editing here. It’s still you just talking to the camera, but it’s much more informative.
Thanks!
Once again, a nice list. I definitely up-vote Absolute War, have enjoyed it plenty.
Fantastic! Thanks!
It plays well solitaire does it?
Hey Buddy glad you included Salerno 43, I know it wasn't your cup of tea but still a great game and easy to solo.
I liked it. Not my favorite, but it was I think it's a very well done game.
This is such a great channel, something for everyone! I like when is adult day 😅
Ha! ‘Adult Day.” A little condescending, no?

Fun game nevertheless. Thanks for making a great game!
Another great list. Thanks Cody!

I've played Combat Infantry, which I liked and nearly included on this list, but I haven't played the others. Thanks.
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer Try PanzerBlitz (they system).... don't fret about the age... it's a great system... Panzer Leader is also great
Victory in Europe is an underrated one. Good stuff! :-)
It is indeed. Thanks!

That’s the only No Retreat game I’ve played.
LOL XCorp stacked with yanks? Did you play? I've heard good things about Sniper Elite.

Absolute War has currently 428 questions on BGG.
Fantastic! Who doesn’t love questions!
thank you
Danke
Personally I always enjoyed the classics from Avalon Hill, SPI, and GDW, Squad leader, RF3rdR. Etc. Guess they don't make them like that anymore.
Indeed.
Great list sir.
Thanks!
great job !

Sniper Elite is a whole lot of fun!
Salerno 43. Brits pushed east n left north flank thin. Germans took one US beachhead n both the British beachheads.
Fantastic!

You'll love it when it arrives.
Conflict of heroes games are great
Indeed.
