    You are doing a great job with your videos! I wish somebody had shared this kind of videos years ago when I was working on my nano reef. My coral adventure only lasted for six months the longest. Should I've watched these before, I could have made it last longer.
    Keep this up! You are helping a lot of people out there and preserving marine lives! ;)

    I'm like you now. I want my next aquarium to be a marine setup. Maybe tide pool habitat. Looking sweet man and looks like you're having fun, so that's good. Definitely relaxing.

    Try Red Sea's Reef nutrition. It's not as messy as feeding individually and it comes with everything corals need. I have an anemone/softie tank and I feed 4ml every 2nd via a doser at night. My corals look very colorful.

    I have a question...did you put a piece of paper down and then put rocks and sand on top of it ? I thought I saw that at the very beginning of the video.

    • @tanyasutherland5814
      @tanyasutherland5814 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It looks like a thin bit of foam? Or something similar. I assume it's to avoid cracks/scratches from the live rock that was placed above it.

    How does your coral not sting each other? like the elegance for exsample people say u have to keep it 30cm away from everything else

    • @DannysAquariums
      @DannysAquariums  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It does sting other corals, I had to move some corals throughout the six months it has been set up. Eventually it'll have to move to a bigger tank. It's growing fast.

      Maikel Schippers What’s your aquarium filtration like? Is it stable as well as your tank? Is there enough flow and live rocks to support your fish load? Are you using ro/di water or tap water?

    How do you keep your sand bed clean?

    • @dontreply8346
      @dontreply8346 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Blow parts of it with a blaster before a water change, rotate the areas you clean to not clean all of it at once or it will make your tank cloudy and fluctuate parameters. Or just gravel vacuum areas during water changes making sure not to suck up the sand.

    Beautiful tank and video as always. Do you think is possible to begin with marine aquarium without fresh water experience?

    • @nanoreefer1622
      @nanoreefer1622 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, just research the nitrogen cycle. Be aware of the role of calcium, magnesium and alkalinity in the marine tank. Take your time dont rush things. Understand that for the first year your tank will go through random ugly stages just wait it out. Lastly have a plan.

    • @DannysAquariums
      @DannysAquariums  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Absolutely, as you can see on my channel I used to only have freshwater tanks.

      I can speak a little bit german. Yes, the tank is too small for this fish long term. But it was in this tank temporarily to eat the flatworms.
