Though as you may have heard this phrase sometime in your life, "nobody's perfect and we all make mistakes", what matters is how we undo our mistakes and this reupload is proof here. I'm surprised that Yuki Hayashi is in this and I am aware of his involvement in Studio Bones. It's crazy how he came back to animate Dragon Ball again but that's just me. Shida and the other animators are phenomenal as always. I am 101% hyped for the movie and I await the day I lose my body control watching the movie on the US release date. So the chief animation supervisor of OPM is doing the endfight? holy crap this is gonna be sweet AF I'm somehow more hyped that what I was yesterday! I never really liked the MAL fights because despite being beautiful, the choreography was always lacking, and they are more focused as the climax of the emotional arcs rather than the fight itself. On the other side the OPM fights have godly coreography and camera movement. I know that the different authors influence this a lot, and I'm not bashing on mal, it just makes me happy to know that someone that important to OPM is doing what looks to be climax of the movie.
Loved the Gogetas new design!! Now im curious to see a SS4 Gogeta with Shintnani's design (liked a lot SS4, shame i wont see it). Also i liked a lot your breadown videos, now when i watch Dragon Ball or other anime i pay way more attention to animation. Have a great weekend.
So far in this 5 trailer we’ve seen, I really like the way the Super Saiyan hairstyle( Goku, Vegeta and Broly) is being drawn, much softer, curved(less polygonal) look and appealing
If you ever wondered why anime trailers like 3D computer generated text so much, it's because it makes kanji look fucking sick. Doesn't really do as much for English.

I like this Gogeta. But personal opinion: I liked SSJ Gogeta with Red/Black jacket and Golden aura much better from the older movie.Different style I know,but super cool looking with that flowy hair and aura and thin lining.Movie was meh though. But there was just something about the SSJ aura noise and the music that was so intense when he transformed.
I thought movie 12 had incredible art and super creative animation, but otherwise I agree with you. It’s not particularly nostalgia it’s just preference. The sound and design of everything made gogeta‘s scene so goddam cool if only it lasted less than a few minutes. At the very least in this movie will be seeing more of him pull off incredible feats, but if I had my way I’d rather have the old art and design instead
One thing I love about Gogeta here (And also in the original movie) is that at any given time, if you cover up one side of his face vertically, you can clearly make out one side as Vegeta (Usually the left) and the other side as Goku. I tried multiple times in this trailer, and it still works. Very interesting and probably difficult thing to do
Yamamuro needs to screw off when db super comes back for season 2, because this movie seems to have the most stunning animation out of almost any other dbz/anime related media Ive watched. Not only that, but Shintani’s soft/old school designs are SO much better than Yamamuro’s lego block, uninspired designs, of course with his hideous banana looking ssj hair. That man can stick to db heroes for all Im concerned!

They are two different people with the same name. There's an animator named Yuki Hayashi, and there's another person name Yuki Hayashi who's a composer. lol It's just a coincidence.
I have no idea what else we can ask from this fight. They use almost every single animation technique there is. However, there is one thing that be really cool if they managed to implement it. As a big part of of every dragon ball shot is to sell the scale of the battle, it would be really cool if they managed to incorporate the same wide space awareness feeling from the climax of Dragon ball super that was directed by Megumi Ishitani.

He explains why in the video. Tldr Gogeta isn't a secret anymore and is actively being used as a marketing move by Toei, Bandai, Funimation, etc. So there is no reason to beat around the bush about him anymore.
