"double the chance of finding an item" is certainly very far off, even for napkin math. It is realistically very close to 40% more items rather than 100%
Nova Sorc is tough to do budget - crescent moon is a good budget weapon pick, but you really want +20 to lighting skills to get ES to 95% which requires a sorc torch + some skillers. A CtA dramatically helps your survivability also, which you really need when teleporting right into the middle of packs to nova.
Would be kind of great though. It would be an amazing rune finder to get to a double Ber to make an Infinity. But yeah, that also makes me wonder if it's ever a good idea to make such a sorc unless you already have stacked characters and stash and basically need nothing except maybe a 5th Enigma and a 3rd Infinity, and perhaps a gazillion bases to sell.
I actually prefer Eschuta's + Spirit, infinity merc, and just running a row or 2 of mana pots. You can hit 200% FCR breakpoint, infinity on merc, and with 2.5-3K mana + warmth + pots its only in the biggest hardest areas (Chaos, Worldstone, etc.) where you will even notice your mana going down. With just a bit more micro for pots I find the build to be much much faster at clearing the things that I use this particular character for on my SP account)
I sometimes run certain P3 TZs with my SSF Nova Sorc using Shako, Skullders, 27 Mara, Cres Moon, Spirit, Arachne Magefist, SoJ and R Frost, Silkweaves. Perfectly viable, if not the fastest killer. I like the 200% extra MF for the guaranteed champ drops. And when I get sick of killing slow I put my Griffons and Vipermagi on and bathe in all the extra white items that drop with my 92% MF. 😁

If you don't have a spare griffons or two by now in the games life cycle that's kind of your problem. I have found so many griffons that I don't even know what to do with them. You can buy one from another player for an HR. If you play the game an hour or two a day for a week, I promise that you'll get an HR drop that same week on P1.

My ssf nova sorc doesn't use self weild infinity, because I want to mf. I can run 375 mf, 105 fcr, and run everything very quickly at p5. The build is ist'd occy, spirit, 5/5 griffs, mara, enigma, 40 chance, 50 travs, arach, 2x soj, gheed, torch, Anni, sunder, 5 skillers, fill in inventory with 7mf scs. Merc is fort, Andy's, infinity. People have tried to tell me that this build is bad because no infinity scythe, but my novas kill very fast at p5 even with almost 400 mf
Skip immunes. Buff your merc - life steal and crushing blow so he can help. Join games where they Finnish the bosses. Farm terror zones for a sunder charm. After that it should become easier. Farm for your gear and respec into a pure elemental build damage will be better than hybrid.
I just got my enigma yesterday struggling as zerker for month. Made mosaic and i just cant understand how tf they made this game such a unbalanced lol At 62 lvl i joined to cows 8p tz 98lvl and i was doing totally fine killing groups of 20 alone in 3 sec lmao
Crescent moon -lightning res doesn't really work unless you use it physically.. and even griffon thats all bullsh*t when you are a caster.. the only thing you need is conviction.. those -lightning res without conviction is useless.. no matter what you guys say, i tried it all..
@@giovannicatamo6348 no it doesn't work.. i tried it all, griffons with facets and crescent moon has no damage to immune to lightning if you dont have conviction/infinity.. but it will work if you play zeal,frenzy,fury etc; for example(immune to physical&lightning) is true.. been playing long time bro the biggest lie is griffon and crescent moon to casters like trapsin, lightning sorc and FOH.. you can try it yourself without infinity those items are useless 😊 But i dont know why no one is talking about this on YT.. its like having COLD mastery (-cold resistance) have NO EFFECT on immune to cold resistant.. Conviction is the only thing u need if you want to sunder those immune to elements..

Yeah i agree, would have been nice to see how this performs without griffons eye. Griffins eye, especially in ssf, is extremely difficult to obtain.
You can run 4 piece tal with shako too. Gives a bunch of mf and you can reach -20 light res on the weapon with a facet.

its only lvl 90 up what is hard. lvl 85 youre in a day

I love using a Crescent Moon axe with a sunder charm and it's absolutely wrecks! And nova < lighting/chain lightning just saying.

I gambled an 18/12 Griffon's during the 22 nights of terror event, haha. It was the only worthwhile thing I got.
