    I liked Hulk Hogan, but Randy "Macho Man" Savage was my favorite. I loved his bright colored clothing and his attitude. If you were a child in the 80's you shouldn't be able to look at a Slim Jim without hearing his voice telling you to, "Snap into a Slim Jim". He is greatly missed. Rest in Peace Randy.

    Randy "Macho Man" Savage. One of the greatest wrestlers to ever live in professional wrestling history. Grew up watching him wrestle in The 1980's WWF Era & early WCW times. He was a true gentleman I met him & his brother Leaping Lanny Paffo AKA The Genius at a autograph signing in Tampa back in 1990. May You Rest In Peace Randy Savage (Ohhhhhh Yeah)😎

    RIP Randall.just seen his bio on AE a few months back, and the man had more heart than any athlete in the business. He knew he had demons inside and he was a master at hiding what was being felt beyond the mat. Truly inspiring to an entire generation of fans. I wish I still had my Macho Man Wrestling Buddy. Aww man see. Memories even talking about it... oooohhh yeaaahhh

    Yep I was born in 1981 so I was a huge Hulk Hogan fan as a boy and also liked Jake The Snake Roberts, Rowdy Roddy Piper (whom I called Roddy Roddy Piper because I was so small lol) and Macho Man. Later on as an older teen drinking beer I of course was obsessed with Stone Cold Steve Austin, and The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels were awesome too. Then the merger came and shit just got weird I thought, I haven't watched it since.

    Impersonation was 🎯 Lamont! Loyal wrestling fan here, went to Wrestlemania this year for Undertaker's induction into the Hall of Fame and the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin. Sad demise, Macho Man was awesome I picked up one of his tshirts online some years ago. May he rest in peace and thank you for a memorable childhood 🕊💜

    Your right,a lot of them are passing away or have passed away now. I am so glad you do these videos cause they were all part of my childhood too that I used to watch every weekend, and it only seemed like yesterday. Wish they could have saved him, but I know he's enjoying time with his dog and Elizabeth.Thank you Lamont.

      He was a jealous asshole to Elizabeth! That part of the script was real! I doubt she's spending any time in the afterlife with him!

    • @johnjerman3421
      @johnjerman3421 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      her relationship with Lex Luger wasn't any better he was arrested for beating her up etc. her official cause of death was accidental acute toxicity from mixing alcohol and medication., many a person has spoken about her & her other relationships, none of which were all peaches n cream

    • @Josh-md1yi
      @Josh-md1yi 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah you're right about that too but Lex Luger is still living so she doesn't have to worry about spending time in the afterlife with him neither! Regardless of how her and Lugers life together was, that was their business but nobody publicly knew how bad it really was! Savage didn't care, he would treat her like shit anywhere and in front of anybody, he was a jealous asshole when it came to Elizabeth! But that doesn't take anything away from his ring skills he was one of my favorites growing up! I just had a crush on Elizabeth since I was about 7 years old and never did like the way Randy treated her! 😂🤣

    Don't hate me, but I never liked wrestling. But I do remember this guy and a few others you mentioned. What goes through my mind as you show us these places is how beautiful that road is leading up to his gate. The fact that he managed to be a beloved part of so many people's lives says much about why he was living in such a beautiful place. But for me, what elevates him now in my beloved memories is he chose to be buried with his dog. I doubt I would have ever known this, let alone, seen this, had you not taken me there with your words. It's extremely sad that he died of a heart attack since his heart was the greatest thing about him. Thank you.

    As wrestling fans, we all have that one match, that one moment, or that one character that made us fans. For me, Randy Savage was a participant during the match that made me a fan back in 1987. I went to sleep around 8pm at the age of 10. Woke up couple hours later and heard my dad and older brother yelling at the television. I was curious as to what all the commotion was about. Wiped the sleep from my eyes, walked into the living room and looked at the TV. What I saw was Randy Savage being held captive in the middle of the ring by the Hart Foundation and HonkyTonk Man. Honky-tonk Man was about to hit Savage in the head with his guitar. Miss Elizabeth went back to the locker room and got Hulk Hogan to come out and save Savage. Savage and Hogan cleared the ring, Savage extended a handshake to Hogan. Hogan accepted the handshake as the camera zoomed in on the birth of the Mega Powers. That was the night I became obsessed with the WWF.
    RIP Macho Man Randy Savage

    I forgot to mention a few words about his brother. He was wrestling in the WWF about the same time his brother was. I remember the terrible role they had “Leaping” Lanny Poffo. He was the “poet laureate” of the WWF…. He used to come out wearing some ugly ass medieval get up reading some poem he wrote… it didn’t last too long as “Leaping Lanny” wasn’t nearly as big and bulked up as his brother Macho Man was, if I remember correctly. Anyway have a great day Lamont and everyone!

    I remember his slim Jims beef sticks, his prime in the 90's watching WWF. A buddy of mine said to me... Did you hear about Randy Savage? I said no? Turned on the news. It's sad he's gone but he's in a good place. He helped a lot of people. I remember he used to come to Sioux Falls for youth to learn about gym and things like that.. It pretty big deal at the time for us anyway. Thanks for doing this video.

    Oh yea, always will remember The Macho Man and Ms. Elizabeth. I am an old wrestling fan all the way back to the 70s. May they both R.I.P. 🌹🌹

    I wrecked on Park. I hate that road. Randy used to come into my a friend's father's gas station all the time back in the late 80's and 90's. He was the nicest most down to earth and humble celebrity I've ever met and that includes Hogan who's the polar opposite of him. Just know that man cared about his fans and would talk to anyone. Great man.
