I know Im randomly asking but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my password. I love any tips you can give me.
Thank you for this video. Especially for the Bar Chart site. One thing that I can't understand is; Let's say we see 2,263 open interest on TSLA 900 CALL strike. You buy a CALL because you think the price is going up. But for every purchased CALL, there is a SOLD CALL. You sell a CALL because you think the price is going down. How can you tell which direction price is going if you have 2,263 traders on each directional bias?
nice explanation. but the problem is that there is hidden ones, besides traders who plays neutral strategies so they write both put and call... how could you be sure ?

Great video. What do you think of high premarket OI levels? Ex: Spy premkt at 415, todays OI on Calls = 35k, OI on puts= 410. I'm guessing these are mostly sellers of options and they think this will be the range for today or next few days? What do you think?
As of Feb 22, 2020, there are over 89, 000 open PUT contracts for GNW. Expiration date of June 19, 2020 at the $3.50 strike price. What am I supposed to take away from that?? Did some one BUY the PUT's because they think the price is going down. Or did some SELL the PUT's because they think the price will go up. Currently price is $4.33 so a SELLER could assume the price will not drop below $3.50. I can see how the very busy strike price could indicate a supply or demand zone, but how does one guess the direction?
I usually watch the strike 1 in an 1 out of the money if short term... a bit further out if longer term. It is often easy to see a comparative high amount of volume on a certain strike just looking at the option chain.

Great video with excellent subject matter. Are you looking for the OI on a particular Strike price or the entire for a particular expiration? Thanks “Time Travelin Dan”! 💵💰😎
Thanks Dan and everyone at TCG who act as experienced guides in a seemingly unending field of learning.

Always appreciated Jedi Master Dan
Does your example with the price of the strike increase/decrease or specifically the underlying?
Can you refer to a time in the video for me to review please, It has been a while!
@@ChartGuysaround 4:33. Thanks
@@Pricelespip The underlying. Bears of the underlying confirm a 4H down trend, and open interest of the puts increase
Which tool it is please
Thank you Dan for doing more videos on options.
Thanks again Dan, always grateful for your pool of knowledge

Great job Dan.
One of the best option video.great job.

I use TOS and tried adding Open Interest to my chart but nothing happens. How did you get yours to work?
Thanks for sharing your expertise!
how do you know if the OI is flat, up or down
One more thing. If OI increases, does it tell us in anyway if they are option sellers or buyers ?
Where can I access the OI indicator for MT5
Great video this one is a golden nugget
nice explanation. but the problem is that there is hidden ones, besides traders who plays neutral strategies so they write both put and call... how could you be sure ?
Great TIPS thanks Dan
What does it mean if open interest is increasing in PUTs but price is also increasing ?
Super helpful vid. Thanks!
This was very informative, thank you.
Can u also use 'implied volatility' for this purpose?
AWESOME Video - YAY PHARM!
ok just for debate, but the contract is open when someone is on the other side of it thinking the price is going down too?
Same thing I wonder about. It would be most valuable to know whether its "Sold to Open" or "Bought to Open"
Just asked the same question

Can I view OI of a contract using trading view?
Not that I know of
So where and how do you check for a decrease or increase in Open Interest?
Very well explained, even for a french guy like me, TY!
very practical
Thank you for the video, really great. Could you give me your referal link to the broker you use for checking out the open interest. thx
Thank you Dan!
If the stock was trading at $29, how did you know which strike to pay attention to.... wondering more specifically for bigger names like $amzn

Amazing, thank you! When people say they read the tape, are they really talking about the option time and sales?
@@nicotine_freedom time and sales
You said price going up, but open interest declining then to try and “top fish”. Please what it means to “top fish”.
Great video
What would u categorize as substantial increase in open interest in options market? Percentage wise, since I’m sure its always changing
Multiple hundreds of thousands of %
thanks very interesting
My question is how do you add it to your chart? I keep hitting “add study” but it won’t work.
ADD indicator
thx Dan!
If there's more call being created, couldn't this also be a sign that there are more writters that believe the price of the stock will go down?

Ideally it will be in a very liquid high volume strike, and unusual volume alerts can be helpful as well to see where the activity is
Why would anyone buy from you toward the end of expiration day when you sell to close?
Sell to close would be to close out the contract but there are people out there who do exercise options and convert them into shares.
Clever
Pundi coin BLOWS, don’t buy it

Can we add option chart and OI chart on TOS ?
