Good video, very clear instructions. I have replaced batteries in Samsung tablets and the process is about the same. More work than the Galaxy S5 which was simple, just take the back off and pop the battery out.

Big corporations are all about planned obsolescence, make them as cheap as possible using the cheapest labor possible, the cheapest materials possible especially pre and post covid. China is cornering the Cobalt Market especially in the Congo of Africa , so basically what I'm saying is what a great opportunity to compete with certain products against these high-tech companies, make them better or simple and simply make them last longer. Very achievable. The world global order is on our doorsteps!

I think we all hope for that but in reality it will never happen.

@@DIYGeardoto be honest. I think that non removable batteries has been a game changer in smartphones. Even with an old phone like the Huawei y6 ll , I was able to fit a 4230 mAh oppo battery in it once I soldered it's original BMS to the oppo battery, and now it's still working and holds charge much longer. I also tried the same thing with my old Redmi note 3 by fitting a Samsung Galaxy a03 core battery in it's body doing the same procedure I did with the Huawei giving these 2 phones a second life.
Since removable batteries are not being sold anymore, I don't see the need of collecting phones with removable batteries when you can do safe battery modification with non removable batteries. Removing glued batteries are a pain but definitely worth it.

I have one of these for my work phone and it randomly shut off and won't power on or charge at all. They told me to just disconnect the battery and then put it back and then power on the phone but I don't have any of these tools other than the tool to remove the simcard. I think I should take it somewhere but not sure where

@@djsjnsnnsns9336 If your connections are fine, you need to seek a good technician with board repair skills. I think something wrong with the board. If the board is damaged, best thing is to buy a new phone and sell rest for parts. ( But you need to decide what you need to do with your data)..This phone is cheap, and spending more money is worthless (just my opinion)
