is there an anser to why google chrome all of a sudden is asking for webcam access everytime i open a browser ? should'n it only be when the webcam needs to be accessed and not with every browser activity ?

My Google Chrome was set to "Ask before accessing" BUT Google did not ask before accessing! I got a popup everytime I opened Google saying, "Google is using your webcam". Asking denotes I am given a choice, I was not asked, I was told, big difference in my opinion, especially when it comes to my cyber security. Thanks for this video, I clicked DISABLE.

My webcam still is not working. I went to the web cam test site and it showed the asking for permissions message but not the test my webcam message. I also did not get the pop up message asking me if it was allowed. I checked the pop up setting in my security settings and it said pop ups were allowed. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for your help.
