Just for anyone who hasn’t gotten Xenophage yet. I followed Dattos quest steps for this recently and every bit worked until I hit the sorrows harbor lost sector, K1 Revelation. The code that worked is as follows: RM, LM, MM, MM, LM, TM, BM, MM. (R-Right, L-Left, T-Top, B-Bottom, M-Middle)
XD I did this without a tutorial when there were literally no videos and streams showing it off and I was glad that me and my group solved it all pretty early, the gun is ass however....
If you you're Hunter that runs Celestial, you'll still be matching the Xenophage damage even with something like Izanagi. EDIT: The quest is actually super easy, and doesn't take that long. I did the dungeon part solo, and it took about an hour to get it down

I can only assume this was the case at some point, because it only picks up 3 rounds from a heavy box in Clash and it's a 2 hit body kill with no crit potential... I don't think there's a single heavy weapon that's worse for PvP. It's pretty unimpressive in PvE as well. Very cool exotic quest, though, and the gun itself is at least interesting even if it's pretty awful to use. I feel like something is bugged, though. This 100% feels like a precision weapon, but it doesn't do precision damage.

For anyone who's dealing with broken lost sector puzzles, try using something like an auto rifle to spam each button instead of just shooting them once
Feels great to complete this quest solo in its entirety, especially that secret boss fight. It was really that hard but I died a little more than I should have. Still happy with myself that I finished the quest line and got the gun 😁
It's weird because even I don't have the expansion, but we can still get the quest. I don't think you'll be able to complete it, but you can still get it.
@@mixxur yeah. But the game allows ws to interact with the statues for some reason and open the chest which gives the quest. You won't be able to complete the quest though, as it requires access to the pit of heresy.
That boss was brutal! Maybe it's my newbie New Light player status showing, but it gave me one hell of a time. Thanks for the guide; Machine Guns are by far my favorite weapon type, and I am always happy to add another unique one to my collection.
I don't feel bad for players who didn't finish Izanagi's Burden when it launched and were screwed for the longest time because of the bug. I don't feel bad if no one wants to bring those players who skipped the quest to Master Nightfalls. Always get everything and be ready to pull it out for any piece of content, no matter how useless it seems at the start. Sometimes it takes time for something to bloom.
Hello anyone who came here to comment about it not working or people saying just to wait... dont do that... what you have to do is put in the code with an smg once you start the first one empty the mag anywhere on the board and once you reload you can enter the second one and after that do the same thing where you empty the mag and shoot the next plate until you have finished putting in the code. Now alot of people get stuck here because the game doesnt regester that the code has been input if that happens with you just empty the mag one more time and shoot the last plate of the puzzle and it should spawn the chest. Don't know if you stated this. I was told to go to 8:00. The holes you slam the balls in for the xenophage boss either change or have been changed since you made this video. really hectic my first time, but worked it out. At least the slow affect is only 5 seconds and I'm doing this almost a year later at 350 light levels higher with op seasonal perks and 100 mobility on a hunter.

@@wondashozen you should be fine. Just watch out for that sword dude at the boss, he will come running at you and sometimes run pass you. But he easy to kill.
Fun thing is, it has 0 damage drop off. You can shoot straight across the hell mouth and do the same dmg as if you were next to the target. 2 shots in gambit.
This just looks awful. I wanted to solo shattered throne so I wanted izinagis. So to do that I want to get xenophage for dps, but now I'm just stuck between which dungeon to solo lmao
Btw, quickest combo I've found for the statues is just going anti-clockwise from the nearest right statue as you enter. You get it after the 4th statue.

I had a bunch of trouble with the final lost sector puzzle because of all the middles. Reset it 3 times to realise I was doing bottom right and not middle right 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ Also thank you for the tutorial 👍
After all these years, the cuts on this vid is still horrible. The tunnel looks all the same and with all the cuts I don't know which corridor to take or where to dunk that ball properly.

Really appreciate this. Just wrapped it up solo after 2 and a half hours. Had to do the event twice because the randoms didn't have great dps and I reset a lot in the dungeon (would've been much easier with 2 people) but it was worth it. First game in gambit and I mopped the floor with them
Tip: for anyone trying to "follow along" to this... just do this run 2 or 3 times *without* the orb, so you can get used to the path. Then, once you have the route memorized, getting it done in under a minute will be much easier. This will take you no more than maybe 10 minutes, but it is worth avoiding the stress of the 60 second time constraint if you don't know where you are going.
Ahmad Nazirul if you hit one wrong button, you have to reload the whole lost sector, or hit that same button 3 more times to reset the puzzle so its in its original position. I just ran through the lost sectors and got the quest step.

Marcin Szcześniak xenophage is a heavy, therefore any weapon in the heavy slot, rockets, swords, machine guns etc can be replaced by it

Wabbajack would have been cool. Lots of people don’t like returning exotics though.
Considering how outbreak was a secret exotic quest, nercochasm would probably be similar to it if it did come back.
Why dafuq should a brand new quest be wasted on an old exotic that we already got. If they return it it should be just a randome drop.

I had a bunch of trouble with the final lost sector puzzle because of all the middles. Reset it 3 times to realise I was doing bottom right and not middle right 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

After all these years, the cuts on this vid is still horrible. The tunnel looks all the same and with all the cuts I don't know which corridor to take or where to dunk that ball properly.

Really appreciate this. Just wrapped it up solo after 2 and a half hours. Had to do the event twice because the randoms didn't have great dps and I reset a lot in the dungeon (would've been much easier with 2 people) but it was worth it. First game in gambit and I mopped the floor with them

Tip: for anyone trying to "follow along" to this... just do this run 2 or 3 times *without* the orb, so you can get used to the path. Then, once you have the route memorized, getting it done in under a minute will be much easier. This will take you no more than maybe 10 minutes, but it is worth avoiding the stress of the 60 second time constraint if you don't know where you are going.
Wish I had read this before I did it. I did it on .75 speed and it was still kind of frustrating

Ahmad Nazirul if you hit one wrong button, you have to reload the whole lost sector, or hit that same button 3 more times to reset the puzzle so its in its original position. I just ran through the lost sectors and got the quest step.

This gun wasn't good when it released, it was heavily buffed in PvE later which made it good.
