- A easy way to do the ride height adjustment in tata safari 2.2 vtt dicor , and with this ride height control , you can also modulate the stiffness of your front suspention setup , or can get it high again if it got low.
performed on - tata safari 2.2 vtt dicor and is same for tata xenon truck as well .

Rear tyres of my safari are not aligned properly after whole bushing replacement and my mechanic is unable to figure out the problem. Plz educate if you have any idea for the problem

Means they are out of camber or toe ?
@@yourDIYneeds dnt know, but they seem to be tilted and are getting worn from inside very rapidly. Mechanic says rear tires can not be aligned. Unable to understand the root cause of the problem.
Sir only 2 cases are possible if the wheels are tilted inwards on vertical axis
1. A bent diffrential ( which is very very rare ) and in that scenario car is undriveable
2. Wheel bearing issues , worn bearings
@@yourDIYneeds checked wheel bearings, they are perfect. Getting the differential checked, fingures crossed should not be bent in any case. By the way thanks a lot for educating.

You should actually do this adjustment and show the viewers the change in ride height.. Your knowledge on this vehicle is very good.. however you have to demonstrate your tips..
Why the height decreases in the first place. I dont get it in torsion type front suspensions. Like why we even need to keep tightning these bolts. And what if after 2 years ride height drops again and theres no more room on the nut to tight
Sir just like conventional springs , tortion beams also setal down due to the weight of the vehicle , the only good thing in tortion beam compared to springs is that it still has a margin for adjustment whereas springs don't have any adjustments . And if it drops again after 2 years and now it doesn't have any scope for adjustments left , then we have to do the exact same thing we do with springs , change them
@@yourDIYneeds wow never heard of replacement of torsion bars. They are more durable than shocks. Am going to raise height of my safari tomorow to put 22 inch wheels lol but theres no info in manual or anywhere. Do you know the specs of height or do we jus have to have a feel of eye and do it.
Sir as its a long travel suspension , so after fitting 22s there should be atleast 4 fingers of gap in between wheel and fender ,
And sir yes , tortion beams are much more durable than springs , even some formula 1 cars also uses tortion beams , but its about the weight safari is not exactly lite weight , and as other parts tortion beams also degrade over time
@@yourDIYneeds yea bro i got it lifted at a local tire alignment shop today but he didnt lift it much cuz he was sayin the bolt thread is jam ahead and it could break so left it like that. I will be installing new bolts then lift it more. Am also adding 2 inch body lift so fitting 22's wont be a challenge only thing bothering me is its 12 inch wide wheel so turning it under fenders is goin to be a lil difficult without cutting. Btw am putting fuel offroad wheels with all terrain tires
Sir turning radius on safari was already not that great , but it has an adjustment so what you can do is , you can adjust that accordingly so it doesn't damage your new wheels , video is on channel . You can refer to that ., And to be true 12 inch is quite wide 😅 , but it will definitely look dope with those 22" . Sir can you send me a photo of vehicle after fitment on my mail 😅 i m kind of curious

Sir I don't know much about Bangalore but can give you a advise . When it's about springs then only OEM are a good option because spring are made with consideration of the weight and forces on the vehicle so any aftermarket spare provider will not be able to conduct such high level tests before making a spring , they will just look at the total heigh and width of the material . Which in most of cases proves wrong .

@@yourDIYneeds from outer side the headlights are little blurry but we installed normal h4 bulbs with price of 110rps .. can we use h4 leds instead of halogen bulb?
Sir if the reflector housing is not in good shape then doesn't matter which bulbs you install , they will reap no benifits

Sir you have to look at the vehicle after every 2 turns on the adjustment for a good stance , but remember this setting is going to lift the ride height and stiffness in the suspension as well , they both come together

My Skoda Rapid NA2 (same as your Polo), is lower in the front by 25-30mm comparetively to the rear.
Is the same mechanism present in our VAG cars too?

Sir usually thats normal , rear a little higher than front , but we also have to consider the age of vehicle as springs tend to get compressed over a period of time

Sir i can show it in a video , but doing a alignment and camber adjustment at home without a laser machine is kind of impossible 😅, so its best to go to a good alignment shop , i can show the shims and adjustment points thats perfectly possible

These sizes cover majority of the nuts and bolts .
