jojay39 I am sorry to hear that. Have you notice exactly what competencies are your weak areas? I would start there. Also, I learn best when I write down things. Use the strategy that you know is the best for you. I used to write down the wrong questions I had in Certify Teachers. Also, the IRIS website was helpful. During the test I highlighted, and cross out to use the Process Of Elimination. You will pass next time!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 You can do it!

What's IRIS website. I just read my notes from PPR class I took during my certification program, I'm using Certify teacher as well. I pass EC-6 and STR from the website on first try.
My program gave me ELL proficiency levels and how to support them. Should I still try TEA Elps. Just curious I will take it Feb 26

I think you have a lot of resources. My suggestion is look what are your weak areas based on Certified Teachers practice assessments results. Then, based on that, look information in all these resources that you already have. I hope this helps! Let me know how it goes. 😉 Important: keep the process until you feel you are ready or pass Certified Teacher assessment.

Luis Villa I am sorry to hear that. For me this test was exhausting! Also, I had heard that it has a lot of ESL questions and that it makes the difference if you are very prepared on everything related with English proficiency levels, etc. I saw that the test had a lot of questions related to English Learners Proficiency level and what is the best practice as a teacher to approach the situation. I reviewed the TEA ELPS pdf, descriptors and the best way teachers should intervene.

Luis Villa I agree and that is why I always try to use several sources to study. Did you check the IRIS website. I found it pretty good. Also, Even when Certified Teacher is used for practice, it has an awesome explanation for each question and has a part where it summarizes each concept.
