Nissan has a pretty long history of making the cars it wants to make, not necessarily the cars the market says they want. The GT-R is a wild, AWD coupe that is sized like a sedan, and it sacrifices creature comforts in the pursuit of speed with a relatively tiny price tag. Then we have the Murano Crosscabriolet, which should need no explanation for its quirkiness. So when Nissan decided to enter the compact performance market, it didn’t build a small coupe or sedan, it built a crossover with frog face and they called it the Juke. I loved the Juke but I wished it was faster. Then Nissan made a Nismo Juke, and it was also wonderful. But then Nissan decided they wanted a faster version, of the faster version, of their compact performance crossover. This is the 2015 Nissan Nismo Juke RS, and it might just be the most underrated performance car on the market.

Why do you say avoid the CVT 4wd version at all costs! LOL
I’ve driven both , and chose to buy the CVT, it’s absolutely fantastic , it has eight programmed shifts if you choose to use the paddle shifters. This is not a gimmick as the herds will say, you can hold the ratio longer and rev it out, it’s a blast.
Having said , this is one of the best reviews I watched, thank you 👍🏻

real world drive, great perspective to why...I bought my RS...
exactly the reasons I enjoy my RS, he truthfully delightfully explains the bits that ...make the RS a uniquely eloquent little monster.
    great review !!!.

Great review!!! The only crappy thing about the Recaro seats is that heated seats is not an option. The seats are great for driving for an hour or two, however I drove from Toronto to New York City and by the time I got there after 8 hours I had back aches. Also sunroof is not an option. The noise level is a little high but other then that it's a great little car! I love my RS!
Also check the Nismo RS review from on TH-cam from ThatDudeInBlue.

Great review. Very informative. Maybe more shots of the whole car would help.

My cousin is looking at a 2015 Nismo RS one of these. I just wondered how bad the turbo lag is? (Is that because you have to be at around 6K revs for maximum power delivery?)
Also it would have been nice to hear what the exhaust /engine sounds like. An alright review if you want a comparison but not a great in depth review of the car.

+OMAutomotive Nissan actually uses both in the car. The steering wheel is "true" Alcantara, but the dash cover and doors are suede.
