I love that he still sings along to it, with a smile on his face, before going on stage, even though he has performed it thousands and thousands of times.
I’ve heard both Jacob and Chris and their many iterations of this song over the years. I feel like we’ve just witnessed them tonally elevate and shift this song into something entirely new now, with this version. Wow. 4:34 onwards really struck me as otherworldly
As much as I love Coldplay and Chris Martin’s songwriting, Jacob Collier is just an alpha musician. A league of view breathing new life into whatever he touches.
Amazing! Conducting the audience has been a highlight in Jacob's concerts for a couple of years now. Adding details over time such as get them to sing semitone intervals. The new thing this year seems that Jacob got the audience to become background choir for performance on stage. ... He is charting new territory.
