Personally, my palms get sweaty when I play fighting games, like the time I played Street Fighter 6 and the whole controller was wet by the end. This is not the case with the anti-slip grip tapes.
Of course, if you have sweaty hands, it is recommended that you change them regularly for 2-3 months. (Replacement interval depends on individual situation)
