He's Belgian. The differences between Europeans are quite minimal nowadays with thr emergence of the internet. He's also been in the country for around 5/6 years. You'd be surprised how fast some of these lads pick up British nuances.
He's a polyglot. Not only do they pick up languages easier than most, some pick up accents easily as well. They are able to observe others and mimic their speech patterns.

Always knew he was class watching him for Everton but my word has he captured my heart with his performances on the pitch for Villa, though I feel sorry for missing this because he's quickly turning into a personal favorite. He even speaks the same languages my dad does! Seriously can say for sure I'm a fan now.
