As someone who used to work at a puppy rescue, I can recommend getting dehydrated puppy food from The Honest Kitchen. It REALLY helps with firming up the poops. All you do is add warm water.
As a fellow animal lover I know that both dogs and cats need extra care. I have 3 cats who have different issues and diets and it can be hard to keep track. When looking at those puppies with their banged up tails and blindnesses I knew I had to do something. I know it isn’t much but you have so many people who also have a love for animals and have subscribed to you for a long time. We are all in this together!
Being blind in one eye I know that puppy's pain. When they do go hp for adoption I'm going to try my best to get him. I wish I could give more! Here's to helping you help those poor babies

My humble advice is to use newspapers to line the kennel. It can be disposed of to save on washing the pads. Also, this gives them a different surface than the soft blankets in the kennel where they sleep. Starts getting them used to different surfaces for different purposes. Soft for sleep, slick for potty. I have also used puppy pads in a corner of a newspaper floor as they are supposed to have a scent that attracts them for potty needs. They may be getting too much food at one time. Maybe smaller amounts more often would be easier on their digestive systems. I wouldn't give them kibble until you check with the vet. I think their teeth need to have a certain amount of development and hardness. If they can't chew yet, they won't get the nutrition they need. You are a wonderful man to foster all these babies!

Most of the time when you are blind you can still see light and actually the light bothers you more. That’s why there is a stigma about people who are blind wearing sun glasses.
Most of the time blind dogs can still see light so it really doesn't mean anything. Also sometimes they may be much more sensitive to light than normal eyes.
PURE PUMPKIN!!! I’m sure you already know this but the rescue I foster with tells us to give pups 1tsp pure pumpkin 1-2x/day. Adults 1tbsp and it regulates if constipated or diarrhea really well

Joey, just a friendly reminder, Frenchies are very delicate dogs. They have the tendency to have allergic reactions to grass, insects, etc. And also the humidity in the air makes it harder for them to breath and also they can get fungus on their skin pretty easily. Please male sure that you clean their faces and that they are always dry. Thank you so much for doing what you're doing. You're an amazing soul ♥

These puppies are adooooooreable!!! I could not be able to choose just one. impossible. There's absolutely no reason not to want a blind dog, so what if they are born without sight, they don't know about anything else! they have an excellent sense of smell, and the same with their hearing. They have amazing senses in their body and whiskers as well. They are so happy, it will not interfere with their genuine joy of life. ❤️

Given how often you foster, and how often they end up either being large in literal size or litter size, I think the kennel would be a very GOOD investment. Especially with some adjustments to make sure it's most convenient for your home.

The kittens when they just go limp and don't fuss when held is a characteristic of "Rag Doll" kitties. I had one (Yogi RIP) and he was the bestest baby ever. He loved cuddling and affection. ♥♥♥ Please play and spend some time with the spotted one. She is the cutest - PLEASE hold her more.
I think what would work for them is by taking them out multiple times a day to poop or pee, and also feed them outside so they can poop This will definitely prevent all the poop mess
You should all Molly Burke about the puppies. See if she wants to come see them. I would love to see her with them. I also think she said her dream dog is a French bulldog.
French bulldogs thrive on a raw meat ,mixed fruit and veg diet 🥰 no judgement just a suggestion yo help with the poop, honestly look into it . I've two frenchies and after finding out how many gastro /allergy problems they have I switched to the raw diet and their poop is solid and doesn't smell at all .. love you joey🥰
It'd be great to see some weigh-ins on the pups! I'm curious to see how quickly or slowly they grow considering how malnourished they were in their beginning
They are so sweet. Definitely put down the disposable paper wee wee/poop pads until they can stay outside. In the meantime you can set the pups up in an open pen (like you did today) in your side yard for 30 minutes after each meal to let loose:). It is easy to hang with them for short intervals. I checked with my vet-you can give them plain vitamin water or diluted low sugar Gatorade. The electrolytes will do them good.
for anyone wondering, here is joey's animal list (in chronological order): - Wolf (male husky, rescued from craigslist (?) as puppy) - Storm (male husky, white, adopted from a rescue as puppy, lives w Daniel) - Lark (female husky/german shepherd mix, adopted from a rescue as puppy (?), lives w Daniel) - Lark had babies (accident at doggy daycare)! seven of them (Red, Teal, Lavender, Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue) - Moon (male husky, kept one of lark's babies-Teal) - Shadow (male husky, J&D tried to keep Lark's baby Red, but Moon & Shadow struggled with littermate syndrome so Shadow was rehomed like the others) - Sakura (black female pregnant rescue cat) (kept her) - Sakura's kittens, the zodiac litter (Gemini, Taurus, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) - Azula (female foster cat, was pregnant but lost the litter) - Hen (foster mama from junkyard) - junkyard pups (Duck, Goose, Shark, Otter, Bear, Moose) - foster mama dog Roo - Roo's litter (Hare, Tiger, Bison, Panda, Raccoon, Monkey) - Daenerys (white foster mama kitty) - D's kitties, the Greek Goddess litter (Athena, Persephone, Aphrodite, Nemesis, Rhea) - took care (for a couple of days) of a mama duck and her 9 babies that wandered into his backyard and got stuck - May (foster mama husky) - May's babies, the Months litter (January, February, March, April, June, July, August, September, October, November, December) - Coco (husky foster mama pt2, false pregnancy, surrogate to Disney pups) - husky babies abandoned in box (Disney litter--Copper, Pluto, Bolt, Scar, Bruno, Darla) - Daisy (husky foster mama pt3) - Daisy's babies (flower/tree litter; Goldie, Lilly, and Daphne didn't make it; Ash, Cyprus, Oren) - Lacey/Onyx (black & white foster kitty mamma) - Lacey/Onyx's kittens, gem litter (Opal, Pearl, Peridot, Flint, Mica, Jasper) - 4 blind frenchies *Montana/Monty (female golden retriever) is often in videos; she is Daniel's (Joey's ex) dog, but often comes to Joey doggy daycare *the babies are usually adopted by other people (other than Moon) and then renamed! some of them have instagrams and have shared their new names/stories, but I'm not including those here *I first created this list a long time ago and add to it every time Joey takes in a new animal...because I have it saved I just copy/paste it onto every (I try, but it's more like "most") animal-related video he posts, so no, it actually doesn't take a lot of my time or effort. These puppies are adooooooreable!!! I could not be able to choose just one. impossible. There's absolutely no reason not to want a blind dog, so what if they are born without sight, they don't know about anything else! they have an excellent sense of smell, and the same with their hearing. They have amazing senses in their body and whiskers as well. They are so happy, it will not interfere with their genuine joy of life. ❤️

Given how often you foster, and how often they end up either being large in literal size or litter size, I think the kennel would be a very GOOD investment. Especially with some adjustments to make sure it's most convenient for your home.

The kittens when they just go limp and don't fuss when held is a characteristic of "Rag Doll" kitties. I had one (Yogi RIP) and he was the bestest baby ever. He loved cuddling and affection. ♥♥♥ Please play and spend some time with the spotted one. She is the cutest - PLEASE hold her more.

I think what would work for them is by taking them out multiple times a day to poop or pee, and also feed them outside so they can poop

French bulldogs thrive on a raw meat ,mixed fruit and veg diet 🥰 no judgement just a suggestion yo help with the poop, honestly look into it . I've two frenchies and after finding out how many gastro /allergy problems they have I switched to the raw diet and their poop is solid and doesn't smell at all .. love you joey🥰

It'd be great to see some weigh-ins on the pups! I'm curious to see how quickly or slowly they grow considering how malnourished they were in their beginning
They are so sweet. Definitely put down the disposable paper wee wee/poop pads until they can stay outside. In the meantime you can set the pups up in an open pen (like you did today) in your side yard for 30 minutes after each meal to let loose:). It is easy to hang with them for short intervals. I checked with my vet-you can give them plain vitamin water or diluted low sugar Gatorade. The electrolytes will do them good.
You should name them after candy bars, since Halloween is coming up!! 🎃

- Wolf (male husky, rescued from craigslist (?) as puppy)
- Storm (male husky, white, adopted from a rescue as puppy, lives w Daniel)
- Lark (female husky/german shepherd mix, adopted from a rescue as puppy (?), lives w Daniel)
- Lark had babies (accident at doggy daycare)! seven of them (Red, Teal, Lavender, Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue)
- Moon (male husky, kept one of lark's babies-Teal)
- Shadow (male husky, J&D tried to keep Lark's baby Red, but Moon & Shadow struggled with littermate syndrome so Shadow was rehomed like the others)
- Sakura (black female pregnant rescue cat) (kept her)
- Sakura's kittens, the zodiac litter (Gemini, Taurus, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)
- Azula (female foster cat, was pregnant but lost the litter)
- Hen (foster mama from junkyard)
- junkyard pups (Duck, Goose, Shark, Otter, Bear, Moose)
- foster mama dog Roo
- Roo's litter (Hare, Tiger, Bison, Panda, Raccoon, Monkey)
- Daenerys (white foster mama kitty)
- D's kitties, the Greek Goddess litter (Athena, Persephone, Aphrodite, Nemesis, Rhea)
- took care (for a couple of days) of a mama duck and her 9 babies that wandered into his backyard and got stuck
- May (foster mama husky)
- May's babies, the Months litter (January, February, March, April, June, July, August, September, October, November, December)
- Coco (husky foster mama pt2, false pregnancy, surrogate to Disney pups)
- husky babies abandoned in box (Disney litter--Copper, Pluto, Bolt, Scar, Bruno, Darla)

- Daisy's babies (flower/tree litter; Goldie, Lilly, and Daphne didn't make it; Ash, Cyprus, Oren)
- Lacey/Onyx (black & white foster kitty mamma)

- 4 blind frenchies
*Montana/Monty (female golden retriever) is often in videos; she is Daniel's (Joey's ex) dog, but often comes to Joey doggy daycare
*the babies are usually adopted by other people (other than Moon) and then renamed! some of them have instagrams and have shared their new names/stories, but I'm not including those here
*I first created this list a long time ago and add to it every time Joey takes in a new animal...because I have it saved I just copy/paste it onto every (I try, but it's more like "most") animal-related video he posts, so no, it actually doesn't take a lot of my time or effort. I just like lists. Thank you to everyone who is giving thanks about the amount of effort though haha!
