That was Jungkook in the middle at the beginning. Jimin is the one with the blue hair. And that was Suga during that part where you said J-Hope snapped. But it's okay, you'll recognize them more as time goes on. This song was written during a difficult time for BTS when they were starting to get burnt out. The song is about their fear of losing their love and passion for music.

I don’t think they’ve ever heard of Natalie Portman’s BLACK SWAN movie which #RM got the deep inspiration from after seeing the movie twice.
It probably would’ve helped ore if you had added timestamps to each one because we don’t go by hair color since it constantly changes.

Honestly even though y'all were confused as hell when it came to knowing who is who. I'm glad that y'all are open minded and trying out their music and actually focusing on their lyrics. Since they talk about some really deep stuff. I appreciate y'all trying to understand the meaning of the mv and song. Also the fandom of BTS is called ARMY. So usually ppl say the BTS ARMY so ppl won't get confused for the real army. But saying ARMY is just fine as well. BTS has, no lie, the widest range of music any artist have and hundreds of songs. That means, no matter what your genre is, you'll find songs you like and some you'll enjoy less. Anyways, as much as medias like to put groups in a box, BTS is no typical "boyband" and even in the Kpop industry, they're totally different. They're pionniers in some way and to these days, I haven't seen any artist that big being so normal out of stage. But most of all, they've been working very hard for a decade, literally starting from scratch in a company that was on the verge on bankruptcy only to have made this company one of the biggest economic sources in South Korea nowadays. There are 3 rappers and 4 singers. And on top of being amazing rappers, singers and dancers ; BTS members write, produce, take part in the artistic concepts, music videos, dance choreographies, ideas... Everything basically, in collaboration with their company staff and artists. They're really on a line of their own and I think you'll see that for yourself when you react to more. That being said, you're really perceptive on many levels, can't wait to see more of your reactions :)
Also, I think you should definitely react to the different fan-made guides about BTS. They'll put you on many informations about the group, the members, how they work and everything basically. Because above learning about their group history, these guides make you understand their music a lot more in some way. That was my case when I first became a fan (and I'm sure I'm not the only one). I guess learning about the background of each member, their background as a group and the way they work for their craft, makes you understand the music (and the artistry) in a much more complete way. The most complete (and amazingly made) guide is : "A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7" (by Taylor Mari). Hope you'll react to it ! In any case, enjoy the journey !!

#BTS has ton of songs that could cater to your taste of music as well as songs that may grow on you or not, its fine if you don’t usually listen to this kind of genre but you will find out that KPOP is not just POP, which has a mixture of languages & genres even though they started strictly with pop/hiphop/rap; they’ve become global k-pop superstars who debuted 2013. BTS has impacted so many people worldwide even ones that don’t like them at all. *THEY HAVE SOME OF FULL ENGLISH SONGS LIKE DYNAMITE, BUTTER, AND PERMISSION TO DANCE.* But majority of their music has mixture of KOREAN & ENGLISH and also have japanese songs.
This song and MV really are a work of art, one of my favorites. If you haven't watched yet, I suggest MIC Drop with Steve Aoki remix and On Kinetic Manifesto. 💜😎🖤

Nah, this was not hip hop! It was contemporary, which is why their contemporary ‘specialist’, JIMIN, had the SOLO dance part! He is the most talented, versatile member of the group! He sings and has expertise in so many modern dance genre, and used his 8 years of martial arts to create his own dance genre! He’s phenomenal!!!!
