I owned a 1968 Green Bug, up until about 1995. Sold it to some kid for about $1500.00 at the time. I wish I'd kept that car. In the condition it was in, it would be worth 20k now.
My Dad had a 76 SuperBeetle 1600 Twinport with a custom fitted Porsche 5 speed transmission for highway driving (Looked like a faded Red, but when it was sent for a paint job, it turned out to be Tangerine) and my Grandmother had a 2 tone Pink and Purple 63 beetle 1200 with the 6 Volt electricals. I love that Ivory Steering, even though it's huge. The Parcel Shelf, Cup Holders, Exterior Racks and overall design make these cars unique in every way imaginable. Adolf, Ferdinand and Frans would either all be turning in their graves or really proud. This car only ended production in 2003, Mexico.
How much lower is it? Doesn't look really low to me. Great looking classic beetle. Its ok to make changes to your own car. I dont understand why some object to that.
Beautiful! Miss my 68. Your stance is perfect!
Damn fine car, I sure do miss my 72' Bug...those were the days

That's like 29 years ago when you sold it so, condition would be subjective now...
Love it! I love the stance! I’ve owned three bugs……. wish I had another.👍

Yep. That’s my idea of the perfect Beetle. Well done.
Nice car. Love the critics who were none years old in 65.
Great looking Beetle. I have a 67’ in the same color. Stance looks awesome and so does the roof rack.
So lovely. I wish I had one from the 60s like that one. I have one from 73, it's mexican.

Lowering is wrong and nobody had roof racks back in the day.
