I have been searching for this type of music for alot of time! Everytime I write and search for glitchy music I got the stuff that I don't want... I finally found it here 😍
Well said. Any real experimental music usually will garner about a thousand likes because it's challenging and the average will find it unbearable. But if its some dub step minimalism "abstract" music, which is just another form of pop music really, it will get far more likes.
Glitch is an apt name! I once had a sound card go nuts because of a conflict on an early 90's computer. The music played in video games sounded kind of like this.
This is the first step towards a musical genre that I've been predicting for years: static music. Think about it: white noise has scientifically proven theraputic qualities, which is why a cat's purr is relaxing. Integrating it into music, and, in fact, making it the dominant part of the music, seems to me like it would be a fairly small logical step from there.
I really like this. It's very minimal glitch, which of course I like. But I also like the video idea. It's somewhat random and yet typographically cool and very rich in ideas. Keep up the great work man!
I find with this glitch music when its done wrong it just sounds like a cd player skipping. But when its done right (like this) it just sounds so NICE !!! : Excellent work my friend !!! : )
I like the video's homage to Russian avant-garde visual art, if they didn't already have their own weird musical movement I'd say glitch is the musical counterpart to it. Reminds me a bit of that "Worker and Parasite" bit from The Simpsons.
personally, i think the textures used were quite experimental. they may not have been bleeding edge, but it is certainly more out there than much of the music that is. not experimental in terms of rhythmic or harmonic composition, but in timbre. certainly something new to be found.
sounds like a mild ménage à trois of Richard Devine, Squaremeter and Autechre. i guess my best description of your music is that it is right on the veins of modern idm. do continue on the good work and keep me posted more on your future tracks! :)
The begining was a bit to chaotic but I thought it was interesting. Thank you for sharing. I have been doing some experimentation with atonality. Haven't posted any of that yet. Will let you know when I do and hope you comment on it.
I watched this three times in a row. Your video is fascinating, and shows a great deal of creativity. I wish that I could get inside your head and understand what ideas you are putting across. It was enjoyable to see something totally unique and different up here.
The most innovative proposals often are not recognized. Only trained ears fail to hear the hidden concept and differentiate. The experimental concept of sound is not for everyone. In my opinion, images and sound are merged in a very interesting. If you apply this live, no doubt it would be a great show experimental ...
@louielouie12345 this is a genre of music called 'glitch', using the recorded sounds of broken machines/tvs/computers, etc. to make a beat and make sounds to a tune. also just type in 'glitch music' on wikipedia.
That is some serious bass on this tune! One of my big banes with glitch music is that the bass always gets lost or out of place. But this is done very well. And like how the imagery is so smooth and in sync with the music. C'est bon, nicely done! :)
I did not pay attention to the video, but I really liked this music. Sounded like a softer Merzbow with the beats being more upfront with the ear. I'm subscribing.
Goddamn it's hard to find the real stuff. Here it is, though. Yep, not trendy, not mislabeled dubstep.
This is glitch music. Thank you, verticalfm.
manictiger yeah, and dat Terror Squad drop tho
manictiger I knowt! Dubstep fucking took control overnight!
'-' k then
*****
nope
Why cant I stop listening, this is fantastic. It really grows on you.
This is so atmospheric. I can see this as a soundtrack for a dystopian sci-fi video game or film.
...
Simstastic Yeah. It would work in a cyberpunk setting. I'm thinking future Moscow or Tokyo.
This...this I like . Less busy than "Glitch" hop and much more creative.
i love this. the animation is so trippy.
If someone's interested, this track calls Kabutogani - CXEMA [Skh'e:ma]
Finally found new, exciting music to listen. Thanks so much for the upload

Often people share music with me which there is no chance I will enjoy, but this is genuinely interesting.

I'm intelligent enough to find this quite soothing!
This is awesome, if you can get over how freaking WEIRD it is.
Ease down on the high frequencies and you have yourself a great track.
I loved that. Create more.....NOW!
The first time I actually thank someone for spamming me :) So nice targeting. Liking the sound! Subscribed.
This would have been great for Metroid music. Thanks!

kick, snare and a few high hats inbetween with the level of bass rised would make a perfect tune :)

so creatively refreshing. very cool work.
Looks like Rodchenko style!
Very nice!
I was just about to bust out singing that 70's Car Wash song while listening to this thing.
Cool video keep up the good work.
I think I left my vacuum cleaner running. :) Does sound pretty cool though.
Interesting stuff... I like it!
Some Alec Empire style crashing amens are needed to spice things up a bit. Either at about 210bpm or half speed, or a combination?
Great really like it! Stay cool!
Love it! Thanks for sharing :)
This is really quite nice.
I didn't know music consisted of playing head ache inducing noises. How is this good?
