I am always curious when I see the pattern as to how Viki Sews will instruct on the insertion of those back darts on a bias cut skirt, it leads to some PHENOMENAL shaping, and is def a step up from any of the big 5 slip skirt patterns I've seen so I am really interested to hear your thoughts on it. You had me a long shirt dress, that inspo phot is the bomb and your 6 yrds of fabric will thank you for allowing them to cloak you in beauty, I think you shirt dress plans sound lovely. All your plans look like so much fun - I would say don't worry so much about a cohesive wardrobe as long as you have things to wear that you love because a creative mind like yours can go in many directions, so why not your wardrobe, too? (Unless that really matters to you, of course, then, yeah - cohesive it is!). Happy New Year!

I have that mauve fabric too! I have not been able to decide what to do with it. It is so soft and nice, and I've definitely wished I had it made into something for this last week of freeze! Hey there! All i know of it is that it's a chenille. Unfortunately, Hobby Lobby doesn't have a great search engine on their website and so my key words are proving futile. I also dropped in the store to see it on the bolt but it's out of stock 😒 I wish I could be of more use, sorry 😔
