The version of this song at the end of the new documentary brought me to tears. The first time I heard it. The only song to ever do that in my 55 years of existence.
Forever an inspiration of life and will be an influence to me till death. Love you Frank. I wish I could've meet you as you met Varese. You are my Varese.
This song has to be one of his ultimate works he's ever done. Out of so many songs he's done. It's almost like he's became one with the guitar. But, that's nothing new. But, there's something about this work that sets it apart from all the others. RIP Frank.... we miss you, more that you can ever know....
@@Thedudemannn Zappa would play like 4 nights, early and late shows at the palladium almost every fall. I think I saw 4 or 5 that year. It was electric. Every band put out for NYC and frank was no different. At one of those shows Vinny broke a drum head and frank switched gears while they were replacing it. He took out his notebook and did “dangerous kitchen” improv version. Magical shows. The palladium was such a great dump to see a concert.
Hey y'all help me out. I love this song, I love Black Napkins, No Not Now, . He has such a large catalogue, could y'all please point me to more of his instrumentals similar to this?
My brother took me to this show when I was 11 years old at the Palladium. I was never the same!
35 years gone and still nothing moves me like this tune .Thank you frank you was truly inspirational Peace

Interesting tone for Zappa, right? Love his expression. Took me a minute to get used to.
Gibson instead of the Strat sound

You must not know much about FZ
zappa is king ...whos elvis
MERDIQUE :'(-:-\ :-[
Guitar shouldn't be overdriven for this song. Studio version set the bar high, and this failed to reach it.
You're a silly little thing you are.
You're gonna sit there and tell FZ what effects he should use?
Utterly charming.
