MCAS is hell on earth. I have been dealing with severe MCAS for TEN years now. It is hard to keep going. Thanks for giving a glimmer of hope. My dream is to have even a few days without this pain, swelling, and misery. I know I would be a vibrant, happy person if I could end this 24-7 pain.

Tetracyclines have a wide range of anti-inflammatory immune modulatory effects.
In fact if one looks up doxycycline on medline they will see it effects the IGE receptors of the cell.
They have used tetracyclines for decades for rheumatoid arthritis off label.
It is possible this lady had an underlying infection but more likely autoimmune disease as her trigger.
I suspect a dysfunctional immune system is the cause of mast cell activation.

Yes, absolutely. This all makes sense. A dysregulated immune and/or nervous system as they share an intrinsic relationship to one another.

This is so interesting, it’s fireworks in my brain 😆. What I absolutely believe but don’t understand is how the subluxations stopped; what is the link?

Subluxations will stop when there is less muscular tension pulling on them. Create more softness and bounce.?

@@JeannieDiBonHypermobility I didn’t know that, that is so helpful! Thank you!
