@@mickaburkhart14 you’re welcome. Did some bank fishing for cats. I bought me a boat a Seaark 2072 FXT. Wanted start chasing them again. Your videos are a big help. Much appreciated
@rolandogarza1151 yeah when i first got stationed to ft Campbell that's all I did was bank fish for about the first year. Then I was able to get a boat. Very rarely do it now.
Good morning 🌞 Micka, my wife and I were just discussing this morning that we’re cooking up the last of this year’s catfish for the rest of the winter. My mouth was watering watching you catching all of those eating sized fish. Come spring I hope to have the little boat ready for fishing, darned batteries for my little trolling motor are expensive if you want a good one that’s going to last. The best part of the battery purchase is that that’s the only fuel I need to get around the little timber flooded lake that I fish. Nice bonus fish, congratulations on a few bigger fish. If I had one day of fishing like that, I would be smiling for months 😂👍💪🙌🙏🌈✌️have a wonderful day and watch your topknots my friends
World class fisherman. You need to figure out a way to hear the boat bottom. I still believe I had ice in your beard when I watched you and Spencer a couple days ago ❤
Hey Micka, thanks for teaching us your fishing techniques and rigs. I was wondering if you do video explaining drift fishing without a trolling motor or a trolloing motor without remote steering and spot lock. I know you had to drift fish some before more advanced trolling motors were produced. Also, you constantly talk about current. Do you have a way of estimating current flow to determine weight requirements.
You are definitely locked in on them. Makes for a fun trip. Got a question: Here in missouri, some of the guys switch to crappie and gizzard shad for flathead in the winter. Is it the same for where you are? Be blessed. My brother.
@ okay that’s what it looked like but couldn’t tell. I was wondering because I’ve tried the slides one time in the past and all it did for me was float my bait to the surface lol. Didn’t know if there was a trick
@@lelandhopkins2433 if I'm dragging baits I slow the boat to like .2 or .3. Bait size i typically down size to about an inch to inch and a half chunks. But still use the 10/0 size hook.

@mickaburkhart14 you are the best when it comes to catfish and getting bait. You are by far the most disciplined. All you need is a dude who has an eye for filming and enough common sense to not be in your way. I assure you that the growth you seek is in the cinematic approach to what you are already doing. You catch more fish than all the big guys. All you need is a helper to separate you from the rest.
@patrickdavis6032 no i definitely agree with you. That's the one thing I'm not the best at but let me get into this new boat then we can try out a couple videos and see what happens.

@brianturnbell6088 no not really wishful thinking. When I get mt new boat I'm gonna be able to take people fishing comfortably and I will be traveling more next year. So we can make it happen.
@mickaburkhart14 that would be so amazing we can fish the big 3 out my way the Potomac, rappahannock,an james river. My home river is the rappahannock. Just ask John ferguson ironside about me.
