Well done that was a lovely video out in the hills with your son how nice 😊 we started Carn Sgulain in May very boggy bailed out with wet feet , you done well to camp on a piece of dry ground. Thanks for sharing your adventure with your son 😊🥾🥾
Great video, my husband and I did this route in the same direction at the end of August this year. It was most enjoyable, there is certainly quite a distance between the first and second Munro.
I just always enjoy viewing scotlands hills especially when a flowing burn is in view☺️ look I've formed view that many or most big names like Big Agnes etc routinely under supply tent pegs so they can advertise a lower weight. Routinely, a peg is 16g, so if you under supply 4 or 5 of them... But perhaps it's also cost reduction. Thx for posting.
I fully agree that it's done purely for cost and/or weight reduction. Maybe they just want to make another £32 on another set of their dirt daggers. Seems wrong that the most expensive tent I've bought is the only one that didn't come with enough pegs to do all the anchor points. 🤷 In any case, I've thrown in a bunch of Quechua aluminimum ones I'd lying around in my garage. Now I'm sorted for all the guylines as well as double-pegging on those windier summit camps.
@Munro Microadventures It is deceptive. I am supplementing with some yellow nylon - they are not bending when striking rocks and show no signs of fatigue. My experience is as an aid to alloy they are safe.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Hopefully, you'll get back up there when it's a bit drier.

There really is a fair old hike between them.
