Today it occurred to me that in this scene, she's pretending the woman is Eve. And then when V and Eve finally do connect, I think it's more like when you've been dreaming of someone for a long time ... there's this feeling of disbelief, "I can't believe this is really happening" - and it's tender, and soulful, and very meaningful ... just the first of many to come.
