I think adding the confetti and the stars brighten your cards. Balloons are always happy. This company does a lot of them. Pap er is so cute! Love staying in and making cards when it is so hot!
Right?! I love that they include the little confetti and stars in stamps AND dies! And I agree this patterned paper pad is super cute! And it is looking like I will be staying cool in AC making cards for the duration!! LOL. It has been SO hot and now we actually have humidity too and it is unbearable!
That is totally why I don't subscribe to kits (except for Simon Says where you have the option to pass on the ones you don't want)! So I only buy the kits I know I will actually use. This one was right up my alley as you could tell.😅 So it was worth it, but I hear you...unless you are truly going to enjoy every item in the kit, it is not worth it.
That's a great kit. Love the stacked presents stamp and die, could do some great Christmas cards too. I really liked that balloons mini slimline card, what we all do without T rulers? Thanks!
It really is such a fabulous kit. I love their style. Right?! I bought this T rules YEARS ago (I think it was like $3 lol) for scrapbooking and making straight titles.
There is a rule in photography and design called the rule of thirds. Basically it is aesthetically pleasing to have things sit on imaginary thirds lines. So rather than having a photo subject smack dab in the middle of a photo you put them slightly to the left or right of center. same is true for design. And when you are using an element in design (whether it be a color or a shape or anything else) if you use it three times on your design in a triangular placement, it draws the eye around the design. For patterned paper, I find that rather than using half of the card in one pattern and half in the other if you do a two thirds, one third combination, it also satisfies that!

It is a great kit for all things birthday (and congrats!)
Lovely cards! Did you notice the 'birthdya' on the 4th card?
I spotted that too 😁
I saw that, too. Makes me feel better that a pro makes same kind of mistakes as I do, lol. It's an adorable card, though.
Nope! Easy fix though, thanks.
Thank you💕
It was quick...I had to go back to check!
Such cute cards. Love them! Wish I had your creativity.
Thank you so much! Well, the My Favorite Things kit did much of the work for me 💕

CN you tell me more about this 2/3 1/3 re about pattern paper? Maybe you have a video or should do one. Please tell us about this rule.
