The fill indicator window seen from about 0:45 thru 0:50 is "green" indicating this particular cartridge is already FULL of ink (factory HP cartridges have this feature). Perhaps the indicator window is broken??? The nice thing about these older style cartridges is they hold a very reasonable amount of ink (about 40-45 mil) unlike new printers that hold almost NOTHING. The only real problem here is the ability to pull or "bleed" the ink thru the print head, as most people don't have this tool.

let the cartridge stay for half an hour and you dont need to "bleed".
