That influencer Mr. Snow turned me on to violet fragrances, too. I bought Opus III (my scent of the day today) on his recommendation. Thanks Jim, bianco Latte was my surprise purchase. It kinda chose me i think, but it has definitely lifted my spirits this month. Jon is quite the influencer 👍, and has become the king of Violet perfumes. Glad Mr Thompson is working for you, it's very beautiful. Feve Gourmande seems to be getting deeper every day. . I've always enjoyed owning the full perfume bottle, even if it's one i hardly ever wear, but the novelty has worn off a bit. I love the ones i have, and i have lots of decants of ones i like. Lucky is very ethereal and pretty. It has a lovely clean simple feeling, but on me its sparkly. Xxx
I'm feeling sheepish about my cull being aired publicly 🤣🤣🤣. There's so many Julija, it makes me nervous. But no regrets, i have to try and be sensible. Between you and me. . Even Harvest Mouse left my collection 😱😱😱. It's such a lovely charming and cutesy scent, but i never wanted to reach for it. And it ended up being more a collector thing. 🤷♀️
Gosh you are so brave wearing fragrances when ill! I tend not to as I ate white Toblerone once when I had flu and I cant even look at Toblerone without feeling sick now. 🤣 I'd hate that to happen with fragrance! I think the whole world is in love with Bianco Latte, well apart from Jon 😂 Viole Nere is a strange one for me, it really remind me of something that I can't place. It feels a bit edible sometimes and a bit medicinal to me to begin. It's very interesting 🙃 I agree with the macerate thing...exactly, it should be ready to wear... It annoys me too. It really hangs around but always feels cosy and lovely. Viole nere is definitely up my street. Luckily the Violet gets sweeter toward the final stages. It's similar in its feeling to others i love. And eating white chocolate Toblerone does actually make me feel ill with the thought of eating it while being under the weather. Never been a Toblerone fan, which is weird because I'm a massive chocoholic. Normally i don't fancy perfume if I'm not well, but bianco Latte is the exception. Well, along with other simple powdery comforting scents 👍😁

Love your descriptions. They are so succinct. Chinese New Year is approaching and I smell butter and cookies baking everywhere I go so Bianco Latte would fit right into that. Not being able to smell a real violet flower is one regret of mine. Do you know any perfumes which captures the headspace of the flower? Yup it's annoying when certain people try to gaslight you into thinking you must macerate the perfume before getting what you paid for. So far I haven't seen any brand owners or perfumers say that. Just some strange fanboys/ girls spouting nonsense. Never smelt Gourmand Coquin but I've tried its new supposed incarnation in the Art and Materials line, Feve Gourmande. It's nice but I genuinely thought it should have been a mainstream release. Guerlain has gone bonkers pricing wise.

I guess my idea of a perfect violet scent would actually be somewhere between the dry down of Viole Nere and something slightly sweeter. But most violet lovers sing highly about the Maison Violet Pourpre D'automne. Which is beautiful but i found it a little too chalky. And yes. . Letting it macerate. The new buzz words for influencers. Feve Gourmande is lovely would definitely not worthy of top notch exclusive status unfortunately. Bianco Latte is genuinely a typical vanilla scent. . And yet. . So gosh darn good. 🤣 👍

I tend to offer my fragrances to perfume friends, and then usually rely on Ebay. Which i know can be a pain when people can be awkward, and Ebay charge so much in seller fees, but it's still the most secure place for me personally. Hope you can get your bottles sold. Thanks for watching😊

Yes it's definitely all so subjective. I have tried Cacao Porcelana and it wasn't quite for me, luckily I'm enjoying the Feve Gourmande very much, but if someone was hoping for a big bright loud fragrance, they would be disappointed. Thanks for watching
