Please make sure you follow this, doing this will let Songify OPEN by itself whenever you load up your PC, if you have installed already then I'd suggest REINSTALLING and following this process by selecting the above options

Hiya, thank you for the amazing video! Is there a way to add the song queue window to OBS as a dock? I can add the browser queue as a dock but I prefer the window queue as it shows the whole list thats in the queue list

You know... I could figure out everything on my own that was explained. But what was not explained is how do I get spotify to be an option to pick for channel audio...? I don't know how to add anything to that. I even downloaded OBS studio to try and figure it out. Can't seem to add anything besides my headset and mic there... so I need to go look at another tutorial instead
This video was so helpful. I followed all of the steps but I can't use it because I don't have Spotify premium. A pop up in the app states it. I will still recommend this to streamer friends that do have Spotify Premium though!

hello great tutorial but im still stuck when i use command !ssr nothing plays i dunno why, i connected everything and i use the localhost but nothings playing for some reason. everythings been connected too and i have spotify premium
Hey, so in the settings is ssr turned on? There are two sections to turn it in within the app.

the developer p[art does not work for me. anytime i click the login the page just refreshes and doesnt take me anywhere. ive tried it on several different browsers
when i create the music request button in twitch its just a button you can press theres no window coming up asking WHAT song you want to play, you missed an important step in your explanation

Do you need Spotify premium for the request to go into your queue on Spotify? when i queue a song i get the notification in chat but it doesn't go into queue on my Spotify.
@@quinfgc it be news to me if so, I've always had premium so no idea myself personally when we found this way around of doing it I never tested with non premium as I'd personally not want ads in the background

Hi, I have a problem with my songify. Whenever I open it, there are files that are also opening up on my desktop such as yaml file and config. I tried to delete it but it comes back when I open songify again. How do I remove those?
@@aastinee I set mine to hidden but they are just apart of the program it seems on recent updates, they wasn't part of the files when I made this video but they cause no harm
Just put them somewhere out of sight would be my suggestion

Why is it when normal viewers try to add songs to my stream it puts 3 stars "***" and queues up a beyonce song. But myself and mods can queue songs normally
@@GsSky it will be in the settings that you need to change it so anyone can request, it is in the settings tho

You create the award on Twitch first then pick from the list of your rewards in So gift

Yes I did touch up on it in the video but you can use Chat Commands, take a look in the vid there is a part on that

for me is in chat: "there was an error adding your Song to the queue. Error message: Spotify response was Null" but why? he adding this song but he say this error

Hey all, so it seems an issue with the most recent patch BUT the songs for me have been adding and still playing, have they been playing for you?
I had this on mine and my friends who I'd setup and both get this message but the songs are playing, keeping an eye out for the next update of Songify

Everything works, but after closing the app, it refuses to ever open a window again. It runs in task manager, but the window never pops up. Any solutions?
Check your task bar in the bottom right corner mate, you can change the settings to have it show up as well and not hide in task bar

@@oldskool419 it’s in the little task bar on the bottom right of your screen. Click the up arrow there and you should find it
@@oldskool419 in the bottom right corner if you click the arrow pointing down it should show there, once there right click and press SHOW.
Head into Settings, in System confirm Autostart on Windows, I also have mine to show in my tray turned on.

Have you click the 3 lines in the corner which gives you a menu and pressed login there?
