Scriabin piano concerto is another beautiful piece. It was his first work for orchestra and he composed it when he was 24.

All of his other sonatas are bangers too! The later ones 6-10 may be a bit spooky😮 at first, but after a couple(or dozen) listens, you will grow to love them! I think you should do the 4th one next, cause it's really cool! Also his etude op 42 no 5!

Srciabin is my favourite composer rn. He's a man of many sounds, from his romantic early pieces, ecstatic middle pieces and almost scary, abstract late pieces. His middle and later works might require a few listens to really enjoy

Lugansky is the best living Pianist in my Opinion. Could you please react to Rachmaninows Etude-Tableaux played by him. Incredible. I would also Love to See a reaction to Rachmaninows Moment Musicaux no4.

Tagging on one of the previous comments. Would be awesome to see you react to Scriabin's Poème de l'Extase (Poem of Ecstasy). It's a transcendent masterpiece.

Lugansky is maybe the best Rachmaninov interpret (> Richter, Horowitz ..) ever lived. Outstanding pianist. The best recordings of the Scriabin sonatas are from Igor Zhukov (my opinion).

Try the Poem of Ecstasy by Scriabin if you want your socks knocked off.

Lugansky's interpretations of Rachmaninoff and Chopin solo piano works are unmatched.

I've been listening to Scriabin for 27 years and i have to say this is not a great performance of the 3rd from Lugansky at times it's slapdash, i'm sure he's played it better. Trifonov here th-cam.com/video/I5i-IEIxpZ0/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=ArthurRubinstein is so much better, or even Gould's thoughtfully melancholic account th-cam.com/video/hs0NvbzEIsY/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=SuperClassicChannel

Though I'd say this performance at least gives a reasonable impression of what the piece is like. It's not a situation like GIDI's first listen to the fifth sonata.
