Roger said Garp was one of only 2 Marines worth his time in a fight (sengoku being the other) and Garp was able to corner Roger quite a few times in the past, but was never able to beat them. Roger never ran from anyone lol (outside of *MAYBE* Rocks and only because we know so little about Rocks)

The theme used in this scene wasn't made for this moment. It comes from the op movie stampede. The tracks name is called "Luffy the trusted man"
Same sound effect as Kuma paw paw fruit. Sound design is the only thing lacking in one piece rn
I feel like the incredibly outdated sound effect library holds back the animation.
I think this was previously used that’s the huge problem with OP they re use the same music with little every scene sad scenes crazy scenes like this one which takes a huge toll on the animation and episode itself

It also shows the respect Garp has for Sengoku, because it is plainly visible, that Garp let Sengoku hold him back. Because if he truly wanted to, its possible that not even the 3 Admirals and Sengoku could've stopped Garp.

I waited for Garp to showcase his power for so long. This was so satisfying and one my all-time favorite scenes in One Piece. I laughed the whole time at how awesomely powerful his Galaxy impact was.

Whitebeard probably said that in order to boost the moral of his crew. Garp's action by punching Marco stunned everyone on Whitebeard's crew even though they are fighting the 3 admirals with ridiculous devil fruit powers but when Garp punches Marco their moral was shattered so Whitebeard said those words in order get back into the fight.
Not like garp could have unleashed that attack at marineford anyways. Downside of fighting on your home turf. Right now garp is in what he likes to call, a target rich environment. he has one person to worry about, and its his student who he knows precisely what the kid is capable of taking.
When did Whitebeard say that? The only thing I remember is Whitebeard calling Garp by his actual name, recognising how strong he was. He only calls people by their actual name when he respects them. Others like Akainu, he refers to as "brats"

To this day none of the admirals who are at their peak have been marked fighting for real, the oda always finds an excuse to hold them back, so if the oda is saving them for the end they will be insane.
