First time to come and leave a comment. But I was at that game and Jasper played a massive role throughout. Always strong on defense. Running lines was exceptional. He goes where support follows. But hey that's why everyone has their own opinion. Love the channel and input you're putting into the channel to grow the game. Keep on with the great content 💪🏻😁😁

We have had kicking 15s before with Percy. No issue doing so now and letting Manie focus on the running game. He is best in open play. Put a kicking 15 like Sascha and you have potency and speed galore. It seems a combination that should be tried.perhaps not against NZL, but Argentina would be ideal challenge.
I don't know which game you watched last week, because Jasper probably had his best game in a springbok jersey last week. Brutal in the carry and immense at the breakdown. Good discipline as well.
When we left the game in Perth, our was 30 minutes after final whistle. Kolbe and Kolisi were still going around doing autographs and selfies. Kolisi didn’t even play that game

People gonna complain because fassi is dropped and sasha is on bench BUT they forget how unorganised we looked the first 60min untill the ice man came on...rassie want control because he knows our forwards will bash them up and if we hold our shape they wont get in wide...pollard is still number 1 and im glad to see moodie back....nz chose telea and reece on wings(two wing who arnt great in the air) and moodie will be a great weapon...glad to not see moerat as he brings very little to the table and i believe rassie has seen that nortje just is better
Nah I was expecting Pollard back, as Nz managed to pin us in our half, we didn't have a good exit plan and our technical kicking was lacking, Willie brings another dimension to our attack as he reads the game far better than Fassi,also Fasso got caught out a couple times on defense, Williams is there to speedup our play at the breakdowns, Moodie to keep Talea in place since they will look to run us wide again...I think we good for a comfortable win....second half is when the fun starts, AM running lines and offloading, Jaden sniping and Sacha putting AM into space
Pollard did nothing mate. Sacha was one the only good things in the first 60 minutes. You’ve got your analysis wrong. It’s called rotation. Sacha’s played the past 3 games 240 minutes in a row and fassi played the last two. Pollard has to play minutes and so does Manie. Manie can’t play as much if Pollard hasn’t played against New Zealand. Sacha has had his time. Now pollard gets some minutes and Sacha will play 20-25 minutes and against Argentina Manie will start or play a half off the bench for the first game. We have 3 world class fly halves and Sacha is going to be the first choice at the World Cup with pollard probably coming off the bench to close off. Every player has to get time. This is 100% not Sacha being put back to second choice, he’s just being rotated. Same with Fassi. They want Willie to get to 100 tests and there aren’t many chances to do that. The best chance to do that is against the all blacks with so many new back line players being there throughout the game. Canan, Lukhanyo, Sacha, Grant and Jaden. (New relative to playing time and injuries) of course there are tactical elements to why pollard is starting but also you can’t play Sacha and grant together right now. If Grant starts, pollard has to start to calm things down with experience. In summary. Sacha is still first choice, you’ll see in the coming future I’m right

As a Capetonian from the cape flats, there’s nothing more I wanted was for Libbok to succeed. But after watching the WP V Pumas match the weekend I understood why his not there right now. He missed nearly all his kicks at poles.

He’s played such consistently underwhelming rugby. I’ve never watched a single game of his in the last couple years where he doesn’t miss a tackle, drop a high ball, knock on etc… Ahhhh I’m so over the obvious token treatment he gets as a veteran. I dont see why the game plan needs to change with Polly at 10. Any change in tactics will be due to playing in Cape Town, not because Polly is at 10. We still gonna maul them, all our tries last week came from kicking to the corner pretty much. SFM can slot penalties just as well as Polly. I think we will exit better, and i think we'll be getting some cross kicks to the wing for Moodie. Handre and Willie are better at game management, and make better decisions in the clutch, but that doesnt mean we wont see them play. Willie is still the assist king. Of course there will be tactical kicking, there was always gonna be tactical kicking in Cape Town from both teams i reckon.
Boks backline was easy read last week . With only 1 1st receiver most likely getting the ball . Now they have two playmakers pulling strings which is not Fassie's game .

Why did every reference to Fassi have to include, "yes he made some mistakes"? WLR makes very many as do all players, even HP and PSdT. Rassie us not picking teams based simply on performance. He is not dropping players. He is testing, experimenting with combinations and a squad not just a team. Need to stop with that 'feeling bad for so and so'.
Actually I think players are often selected on battle stats but that doesn't mean they don't make mistakes but sometimes like we saw last week, BJDs offload to Wiese which lead to a NZs try, he was taken off very quickly so maybe depends on what mistakes too and then the combinations that work well together are chosen, I like this selection and was expecting Moodie to go to wing after KLA went out and also Willie isn't a surprise at 15.

Great balance to this team. Expecting alot of kicks in the 1st half and alot of attacking in the 2nd half. Those backline replacements are very fast.

We were dominant in the scrums. AB's collapsed like 3 times in the scrum, yet not penalized.

Actually I think players are often selected on battle stats but that doesn't mean they don't make mistakes but sometimes like we saw last week, BJDs offload to Wiese which lead to a NZs try, he was taken off very quickly so maybe depends on what mistakes too and then the combinations that work well together are chosen, I like this selection and was expecting Moodie to go to wing after KLA went out and also Willie isn't a surprise at 15.
