Its a year ahead of time because they knew they were gonna get the license far before anyone else did. They had to wait for lawyers to draw contracts, probate courts to sign off, all parties needed representation and Iracing most likely told their employees its all but a done deal so get started on it now so we are ahead of the game.

Last year, iRacing host a poll which features they should prioritize for NASCAR 25 and what not. Ppl are voting for team owner mode and there’s hope.

I think it will be a Nr2003 console version , with the open world feel, physics crash damage etc but with World of Outlaws Presentation, settings and game mode .
I hope we get more than the top 3 tiers of the NASCAR series , I hope due to Dale Jr's involvement we'd get CARSTouring and maybe a NASCAR Legends mode with 3 Generations of Cars to teach New fans the history and current fans Nostalgia.
Whelen mods and late models have to be a part of career mode for real, plus everything’s already scanned and licensed in iracing, also it’s a brand new engine different from heat series and the WOO games so likely everything will look different from those games presentation to menu interfaces
I think it should have a lot of the features and difficulty settings of the World of Outlaws game. Such a fun experience and my whole time playing the career I was like man I wish this was a NASCAR game lol
Tbh In cool with Ben Kennedy being the head of NASCAR one day. At the very least he was an actual NASCAR driver, which in my opinion already give him more credential to lead than anyone after Bill Sr

Mark my words, this game on console will be the new nascar 2003. Not sure if they can do free drive like down pit road and all but that would be nice. If you remember the original nascar heat, this will all be new. All I'm looking for is better handling and I would like the in car lights and guages to actually work, over heating, oil temp and or pressure, and so on. I really do think that this game will actually surprise alot of people
If they don’t make a successful nascar game, then nobody ever will. This is a make or break game for the NASCAR community
They probably got as much together as possible to pitch their game to NASCAR before getting the license
They probably knew about the financial troubles over at that studio(I can't remember there name) and it was only a matter of time before they would sell the NASCAR license. So they figured to get a head start on designing and making ideas for the game. I'm glad to hear that they've been working on this game pretty much for 3 years. I hope that this game gets a PC release. And us PC players don't get that red headed step child treatment that CFB25 gave us.

I think whatbthis game has going for them so far, is that they have the assets to make an absolutely incredible game. And with that, they set high standards for themselves. In contrary, NASCAR gaming has set such a low bar, that Iracing and papyrus could create a crap show of a game by their standards, and it STILL ends up with us having a field day over it
I believe the foundation will be like that of the Papyrus PC platform, with some of the EA-esque challenges thrown in to round out the game. I think you're right that the physics is going to be a priority, and it wouldn't surprise me if they have a "Sim Mode," which resembles iRacing, and then a "Simcade Mode," which will loosen up the realism, making it more forgiving for beginners and casuals.
Personally, I've always enjoyed games that played more like what you would see in real life on the field or on the track. This is why I hope there are sliders so we can adjust the game play within the difficulty levels to make it play more or less like real life, depending on our preferences and skill level. This is something I always enjoyed about the NCAA football games, especially 14. I would crush the CPU on their standard "Heisman" setting, but I found some slider sets that leveled the playing field and made for realistic stats, scores, and gameplay. It was so much fun when you'd play a top-10 team and actually have to play methodically or see the game come down to the wire in triple overtime in the conference title game. Those moments make you want to play again and again. The standard settings? Not so much.
Its just sad how this game will not come out on PS4 and Xbox One, so essentially, all this generation of consoles has gotten as far as Nascar games was the Heat games
Can confirm with Dale and Radman. I got into f1 because of the f1 games coming to ps plus a year ago
the best nascar games are thunder 03 and 04 dirt to daytona would like to play nr2003 i thought i saw a video of you playing it a few weeks back i thought
They should make a “no limits” version where you drive manually in the pits and do pace laps

I’m pretty sure they did get the license 2023 last time in 2023 I asked when this game was gonna come it said 2023 sadly it was a lie but I think that is when they got the license in September or October 2023
iRacing had had the license for this NASCAR game since October of last year
i’d love to see a program mode lie where you can Sign drivers upgrade equipment switch manufacturers and stuff have like ur own pipelines and prospects

This is a re-post of a comment I just made on your other vid. So I’m owning up to that first. What if I told you the best console stock car racing game right now is GTA online. Sounds crazy and I hope it does, because it doesn’t make sense lol. Weirdly enough, me and a group of cool individuals have made our own league for NASCAR on GTA. And I’m not talking about the tracks that rockstar made. I mean custom player made tracks based on real life tracks. We race at Daytona, Martinsville, Bristol, but we can also race on a custom version of Laguna Seca and any other quality player made tracks. Even completely original player made tracks that could basically be considered like fantasy tracks. If you have ever wanted to add a new game to your repertoire and still have it be NASCAR themed stock car racing, look up the Redwood Cup Series

Honestly I agree that the thunder series and 05 is better, but for me 06 and 07 are so much fun to play, and the soundtracks for both are so good
@toadsixeight I never played 07. I went from 06 to 08 on the PS2. Which the PS2 version of 08 os actually not bad. I definitely like 04 the second most as a kid but never owned it. Only ever rented it.
@@WizardKingNick yeah 08 ps2 is definitely better than ps3 or 360. But yeah 07 is pretty much the same as 06, but I like the roster and the menu just a little more than 06, but they are pretty much the same game
@toadsixeight yeah. I don't remember much because it's been so long since I've played any of the older games but I do remember in 06 you can drive the UPS truck as one of DJ's "paint schemes"
Have you tried the Nascar Cup 23 for rFactor 2?? I like it better than the mod for AC.
Imagine there’s a legacy mode without old bodies eg: 2007-2010 or COT 2011-2012 COT etc
I remember playing as tony Stewart 2000 nascar game and nascar Nintendo 64 was pretty cool I played it was I was kid and I am feeling old lol
I say this being nice. We don’t want iracing 2025. We can go to pc and play that. NASCAR 25 should be a console game with a mix of lovely iracing physics with the appeal to the casual gamer. If you want that next level? Get on iracing. What is going to make me upset if the game comes out and is pure toilet water. You got all the ppl with fluffy titles and Dale jnr putting their name out there. They SHOULD know what we want. It’s not rocket science. NASCAR racing, a decent crash model, some presentation, career mode, paint booth, online racing and create your own season mode. That’s bare minimum. We had those things already. Why even put a game out in 2025 when we lose what we had already? Anything else in year 1 is a plus.
For the love of the community: No crown of success should be given until the game is in our hands and playable for us to decide.

There's a fine line there because you can't focus on "casuals" for the simple reason that they are casual players. They're already far less likely to buy your products anyway. Neglecting the core or primary audiences or target consumers is the mistake media and game companies have been making over the last 5 years or so, especially. Chasing people who are only interested 20% of the time is not how you make a good product or a profit. That said, it is possible to make simpler game modes for the casual, but still focus on the target market, who are not casuals but actual fans of the sport and of games. You do this by leaning more towards realism than arcade-like gameplay. I've always had more fun playing a racing game or sports game when it simulated real life more closely than when it didn't really simulate anything at all.
This is why I'm hoping they give us some slider options to fine-tune the gameplay for more realism rather than just leave us stuck with basic options that leave big gaps in the skill levels of the AI that you can't adjust.
I trust that they're going to make a very good to great NASCAR game due to their experience and their passion for the sport of racing itself. They understand what makes a racing game fun and good.
iRacing is too expensive and is for multiplayer. What would be great would be an updated NR2003, with modern games engines but with the realism of the Papyrus games, for the PC.
Last NASCAR game I played nascar 14 ps4
This is what I’d be okay with-
-Career Mode like NT2003/2004
-An option to sing multiple primary sponsors and the ability to change to custom paint scheme to match sponsor in career mode
-STATS! Can’t stress enough. I LOVED how the early EA Games kept up with everyone’s Stats
-The ability to work your way up to purchase another charter to have a teammate while also still doing your career. Sign the driver their pit crew, and their sponsor. Maybe a shared team sponsor like we see with JGR/Haas.
-The ability to actually Name and Brand your own team.
-And of course money cheat like CFTC2005! 😂 bc we all love getting ahead sometimes!

I think this game should be pretty good hopefully it just as good as NASCAR thunder 04 and NASCAR 06 and inside line hopefully the have for the Xbox One and Xbox series x and s and PS5 and PS4 consoles as well too.😊

You say in your video that you havent had new content is a long time, but you have all these members that pay monthly to help the channel which is prolly around $400. If no new content then why you need members if you are not creating new shit? 😢
I hope it will come to the PC. But I think iracing will use the opportunity to get on the console market with the sell everything individuell expensive concept. This game, i fear will not come to the PC. The PC has iracing.

Well unfortunately i just learned that NASCAR 25 is not going to be on Xbox One or PS4 just Xbox series x and s and PS5 and PC only guys sorry 😔.
This game beeds to work on having decent AI, drivable physics, and up to date graphics. A barebones, sandbox type game with Quick Race, Season Mode, and functional online racing is perfect
They need to have a good, functional racing product before they can go in depth into the features, career, and whatever else

Saying nr2003 being the best nascar game is the most stupid thing iv heard.. it was never available on console. The best games is when it’s available to be played by everyone. Period. NR2003 is a video game.. that in itself can make it the best video game, it doesn't have to be available to every console/PC, this comment is just dumb lol
