BUT thank goodness that experiment ended. Now we hear Cantonese music performed with real traditional Chinese musical instruments which brings out the Chineseness...
Yes that era was popular using western instruments to play Cantonese music. But nowadays more traditional real Chinese instruments are playing more instead. Thanks for listening!🙏

在30年代於上消時期.啲粵樂玩家及收了西洋爵士音樂的輕快爽朗曲調.
轉化爲廣東的(精神音樂).而當年大受歡迎.更流行於省廣澳.以致南洋一帶.
很多電台也作為節目中開場曲。
今天!歌壇香港巳全數沒落了.
而廣州今天還有歌壇存在.幸甚也.
一些國樂團隊.也有玩(精神音樂)我也欣賞過.但是從配器.合作.曲中璇律意境.皆不能達到前輩粵樂家的水準.
希望年青一班國樂家.多些欣賞及收前輩粵樂家的(精神音樂)演奏意境.
日後有更偕進步也👍👍👍

林兆鎏音樂領導.王粵生古箏.羅正庭琵琶.靳永棠蕭.文全掌板。
而林兆鎏與王粵生情同兄弟.亦師亦友.彼此共同研究曲藝.56拾年代.
王粵生有片約的話.一定找林兆鎏玩音樂拍和.反之亦然.56拾年代在粵劇歌唱片中.他們經常合作共同玩音樂.
